Default Bug Report The Shroud Until They Fix It!!!!!!!!!!

I encourage every player who completes the shroud to submit a BUG REPORT immediately after completion to encourage Turbine to fix all the problems with the shroud once and for all. Bug reports should include: lack of recognition for completion, lack of favor recognition, and the fact that favor is showing up on alternate characters randomly. If We all do this on a regular basis, We will become "The squeaky wheel" and perhaps this will be finally corrected......................................... .............

EDIT: I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT BUGGING THE END BOSS, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT I'M TRYING TO GET FIXED HERE, PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS IT!!!

Shroud favor is not really a big concern to me. If you are worried about the boss bugging then don't bug him. Don't DD and you will get your xp and end reward. Also they have already said that his AI is fixed in the next mod allong with a ton of other enimies AIs.

The problem about bugging the boss is not coming from yourself, but others.

When you're in a PuG and you learn they're going to bug it and you got to recal... it's annoying. when you got to deal with that lone players who suggests bugging him, it's annoying. When a guild bugs him all the time... it's not fair.

As someone who has completed without bugging I can tell you the only real difference is about 100 heal scrolls and 10 minutes. he goes down either way. My sorc does not have xxxxxx xxxxxxxx (not supposed to tell in forms) memed. I do not do it and never ask anyone else to. That is my part of not cheating. The rest is up to turbine. I also never ask anyone not to. You will find the game much more enjoyable if you don't worry about what others are doing.

Also the issue is fixed in next mod, no need to panic they have the issue delt with as soon as the mod comes out.

PS> If you are so agaist someone else bugging him I would think you would be agaist intentionally avoiding the 3 day timer.

Funny, they hurried to make the Abbot so hard to complete in module 5, but now they're taking their time for this... it's silly.

I just wonder how it slipped through playtesting. Hopefully, I won't even be flagged for it until after the fix.

Well to most dev know it's been a well known bug since beta vs every monsters in the game, its nothing new.

The only thing new about it is this is the first raid where it's far easier to do due to new/poor raidboss AI and it makes a big impact and often happens by accident.
    I mean:
Velah: Not even a real mob - lacks any normal monster AI - but merely a large trap with some hitpoints and special attacks, so its ineffective.
Titan: Doing so causes the raid to fail.
DQ: Works, but teleportation auto corrects the bug.
Reaver: Doing so causes the raid to fail.
Abbot: Doing so causes the raid to fail.

Since this seems like such a hard bug to fix since it's been around so long, the likely fix will be like the other raids - doing so will cause the raid to fail completely, wasting the players time imensely if it's done by accident.

These are minor and uninteresting bugs i will not report as they should be mega low priority.

FYI: The shroud does grant favor correctly - 33 for elite. It is merely a display issue - has no effect on favor rewards, personally confirmed that it granted both the large bag for the twelve favor and a +2 tome for the 1750 favor.

The favor showing up on the wrong characters does infact not count, so it is too a display issue.

IMO: Top 5 shroud bugs that should be fixed in mod7:
5: Objective "Prevent shavarath from becoming conterminus" does not correctly check off once completed.
    4. Luitenants sometimes do not grant/get special abilities or heal each other correctly.
    3. Collectable overlay quests only count for 1 player - the one that gets the kill, and furthermore offer utterly worthless rewards - xp to a character guarenteed to be already capped.
    2. Shroud luitenants ghost pathing issues.
    1. Well known top exploit.

I think you forgot the INSANELY EXCESSIVE INFLATION of everything's Hitpoints. Particularly Arraetrikos.

It really is a shame we have to bug the things due to madly excessive HP totals on them. It really is a shame.

    1) Hes not hard to beat without bugging. Send in 1 Fighter or 2. Keep them healed (heal scrolls ftw) and DPS through ranged until dead.

    2) I think it much more inportant that when he die the quest instantly complete than to fix the AI that has been around on most mobs since beta.

Wow..didn't know this. Good thing I do, because I was planning on running 3 of those when I get home from work as our guild is now all flagged for them. Geeze, I would have goofed and not known what went wrong! ( I know, I have been playing 16 months and haven't fought Velah....had to wait on others as not to spoil it..)

Does dispel magic still work on summoned pets?
My Videos Shadow Mage (ok, it's a build now)
A forum post should be like a skirt - long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

    Why?

Not sure I understand the issue of some people choosing not to finish. They don't get the last 2 chests or the end reward.

I agree with Tal. Who cares? Farming 1-4 is fine, sure. But the real value is in large ingredients, and the drop rate in part 4 is extremely lacking for purposes of creating tier III items.

Auto-completing after the pit fiend dies on part 5 just means people wont do part 5 if they don't want to complete.

That doesn't solve anything and now you're short manned folks because they've already left the raid.
