Default Possible Caster Spells that could be added.

I know. I know there are so many spells that we all would like to see added but many just aren't feasible for DDO.
There are quite a few that could be added though.

Protection from Chaos/Evil/Good/Law - Sor1/Wiz1/Clr1: Since we already have Protection from Evil it would seem easy enough to add the others. It could be like the Resist elements spells as a single spell that brings up the different choices to cast.

Gaseous Form - Sor3/Wiz3/Brd3: The game movement would be the same as being dead, so that shouldn't be too difficult to implement. And like invisibility it could be ended by any action. Vulnerability to Air Elementals and incorporeal creatures would have to be added though.

There are a ton of spells that could be added.

    http://dndsrd.net/wizardSpells.html

Here are some I would like to see:

    Level 7
Spell Turning:Reflect 1d4+6 spell levels back at caster.

    Level 8
Scintillating Pattern:Twisting colors confuse, stun, or render unconscious.
Charm Monster, Mass:As charm monster, but all within 30 ft.
Protection from Spells M F:Confers +8 resistance bonus.
Mind Blank:Subject is immune to mental/emotional magic and scrying.

Also, I would like to see all the spells that have a HP/HD component revised. The following spells are a complete waste as implemented, but could be cool with some tweaking:

    Circle of Death
    Undeath to Death
    Power Word: Stun
    Power Word: Blind
    Symbol of Death

These spells should get the same HP/HD adjustment that most of the monsters of the appropriate level get.

Tenser's Transformation is already in game. Mass charm monster is (kind of) already in game, it's in my spellbook.

MT put together a list of many, many spells that could be implemented here:
    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=97458

Also, power word:stun is a powerful pvp spell.

*Drool.* Can I have that cast on me permanently? :3?

Also, is there a page on the net that outlines that spell? I'd love to have a copy of exactly what all it does, so maybe I can plan a character in a pen and paper game. . . Friend is letting me slide as a Warforged in the Forgotten Realms. . . Maybe I can figure out how to let him allow that as well. xD!

Keep in mind that while under the body of war spell you can't cast spells at all, or activate any kind of spell trigger items.

    BODY OF WAR
    Transmutation
    Level: Sorcerer/wizard 7
    Components: V, S, M
    Casting Time: 1 standard action
    Range: Personal
    Target: You
    Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Throwing back your arms as you complete
the spell, you feel your body grow heavy
and unresponsive. A moment of panic grips
you as your chest ceases to expand and you
realize you are no longer breathing. Cold
sweeps over your body as you glance down
    at your now-metallic flesh.
When you cast this spell, you assume
the physical appearance and many of
the qualities and abilities of a warforged
    titan (Eberron Campaign Setting 302).

While under the effect of the spell, your
creature type changes to construct, and
your size changes to Huge. You have the
space and reach of a warforged titan (15
feet/15 feet). Your mindset changes so
that you relish combat and cannot cast
spells, even from magic items. You
gain the Strength and Dexterity of an
average warforged titan (Str 28, Dex 8),
but you retain your own mental ability
scores. You have no Constitution score
while affected by this spell. Your base
land speed becomes 50 feet. You gain
darkvision out to 60 feet. You also gain
    low-light vision.
Your class and level, hit points,
    alignment, base attack bonus, and
base saving throw bonuses all remain
the same. You lose any extraordinary
special abilities of your own form, as
well as spell-like and supernatural abilities.
    You keep all extraordinary special
attacks derived from class levels (such
    as a barbarian’s rage or a rogue’s sneak
attack), but you lose any from your
normal form that are not derived from
class levels. You cannot speak or cast
spells while in warforged titan form.
Your natural armor bonus becomes +18,
regardless of any natural armor bonus
from your normal form, and you gain
    damage reduction 10/adamantine.
As a construct, you have the following
    qualities: immunity to all mind-affecting
    spells and abilities, poison, sleep
    effects, paralysis, stunning, disease,
    death effects, necromancy effects, critical
    hits, nonlethal damage, ability drain,
    fatigue, exhaustion, energy drain, and
to any effect that requires a Fortitude
save (unless the effect also works on
objects or is harmless). You also gain
the warforged titan’s two attack forms
(axe and maul), along with the trample
    special ability (damage 1d8+13; Reflex
DC 25 half). The warforged titan’s axe
deals 2d8 points of slashing damage
and has a ×3 critical modifier; its maul
    (essentially a huge warhammer) deals
2d8 points of bludgeoning damage and
also has a ×3 critical modifier. Your
equipment melds into your new form
    and becomes nonfunctional.
    Material Component: A miniature
    bronze hammer.
Rule 1: Don't sweat the small stuff
Rule 2: Its all small stuff
Rule 3: People are stupid. You, me everyone... expect it
more rules to come in a different sig

A great spell, but won't happen. It also allows you to fly- and you know how much the devs love letting us fly.

MT, while I may not agree with everything you say, I appreciate a lot of what you do. This complilation of spells is the most complete list I've seen on the forums. A wizard's power is in his spell selection, more spells means more power. While I feel I'm powerful enough, the more options available the better.

Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

And, as I believe I said at the time, DG is being far too literal in his interpretation of how the spell should work.

A general visual echo effect, and then a simple roll to determine whether a double was hit is all that the spell would require.

Yes, and those were poor excuses as usual. It could be implemented using the same method as blur/displacement. Just add some fuzz around the character and put in the effects. If coding for the new monster responses is a huge deal then I'd really like to know what early 70's programming language they are using. All the coding I've worked with is logical and I have no doubt that it would be easy to implement simple probabilities.

The real reason they won't implement it is because it is, in their opinion, too powerful. Slap on displacement and mirror image and monsters have little chance of even hitting you before they die. Afterwards you slap on another mirror image and you're ready for another fight. This, in my opinion, wouldn't be too powerful because half the monsters in DDO seem to have See Invisibility (read Mirror Image description) as a natural bonus, or the monsters themselves would cast the spell.

Sorry to hijack this, but here's a few spells I'd like to see adjusted for bards as well.

Lv 6- Mass hold person (already in game, just not for bards. Progression makes sense since at lv2 we get hold person, lv 4 we get hold monster. Lv 6 ought to have a hols spell too.)
Lv 5- Masss charm person (as stated above for ease's sake ecept proggression is at Lv's 1 and 3.)

There really needs to be some lovin' to Bard level 5 spells. If that isn't the saddest group of spells offered anywhere, I'm not sure what is...
