Consider it part of your + 1 krappola of selling horde.

Well if it's a 50 K weapon I'd say you'd get about 10 K from a vendor with a decent enough haggle.

Its funny then because every time some pulls a higher power "number" item in a quest they mention getting paid.

Your confusing what people refer to as the "Power 5" in game and here on the forums with items "of Power"

Just go Check the Weapon Broker in house D if you dont believe us. You'll see all kinds of Power 1-9 weapons sitting htere as well as Magi Items.

Nope. Not in this case certainly. Power items other than POP X, Widows Eyes, and Wiz VI-VIII are pretty much vendor trash. Particularly now that folks can craft their own SP items in the shroud. When I pull power items, they never see the broker, they go straight to the tavern keeper.

Im on Argonnessen, so the hopes of me finding your sceptre at the vendor is pretty much nil.

Even POPX is lost its value. Used to sell for millions, now a few hundred k if you're lucky. Even then only because its a trinket
slot.

The Shroud has changed even WizVI items. Casters of all flavours are creating items that give a total of 300 SP's...600 for sorcs..and they all have Wiz VI (+150SP's) on them. They dont stack with power items.

And if you are confusing power items with Power5 items, Im afraid even those have little to no value now.

Put it on the AH if you dont believe us. Put it up there with 100gold start and a 1mil gold buyout. It prolly wont
get a single bid.

Prices really dropped after mod.4, that's when Magi weapons invaded the market.

The problem your running across is that most caster types...
1. Don't like having to unequip their power/magi item. It's painful to use a shrine and realize your down 20-100 SP because the weapon didn't get reequipped.
2. Utilize other items in their hand which requires switching off the power item...Casters dual with a potency in one hand and a lore/spell pen in the other (etc...)
3. If you get into a combat situation and have to switch out prior to burning off the SP it's gone. Poof. Bu-Bye.

Their value is additionally reduced by the availability of static loot drops that fit in other equipment slots. Vehns Necklace at low levels, Trinket from Tangelroot at mid, and the new raid crafting loot at high.
