Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
Everything's gonna be okay, Quantum. One day, people will love you and hug you for your brilliant discoveries and contributions to the community, even though right now, you can't seem to do anything but personal attacks. I empathize Oprah-like with your situation. I feel your pain.

i also dont see the reason for 1 level of another class just for the weapon proficiencies.
if i wanted to use a certain weapon so badly id just use a feat slot on it.
sure you lose a feat slot, but imo losing a level of cleric is a lot worse.
there are other alternatives as was mentioned in this thread, you can take an enhancement that gives you long sword proficiency with a bonus +! to hit, or you can choose elf/drow for the built in weapon proficiencies, both of which happen to use rapiers which are the hot weapon these days.
if you want to wield a khopesh, which is the other big weapon, you have to use a feat slot regardless.
Meh, I took 1 level so I get less blind invites
j/k I did it cause I'm Warforged, I like Greatswords & parties get scared when the Cleric shows up wearing a Docent and a Greatsword.

I guess I feel that the feat slot is a lot more valuable than the 1 level of Cleric. All that level means is slightly worse spell penetration and one fewer spell slot. In return I get access to all martial weapons (as a dwarf the Dwarven Axe), plus one more AC and a boost in spell points.
