Default Sublime Permadeath Guild defeats Sor'Jek

The Sublime Guild completed it's first raid tonight . We had one death to Slay Living and one to Finger of Death, both were raised by the clerics. There was also one death at the last fight when Sor'Jek tossed a dwarf off the mountain. The others that fell stuffed him in a collectable bag (dwarves are very compact when they have no bones) and brought it back to the clerics. There were a few skirmishes while we were regrouping but everybody made it back safely.

    For sure....

Willing to bet that PDers are one group that NEVER forget to tip their clerics generously.

I know a few in that group who have only ever played permadeath, and for them this must have been an absolutely incredible experience.

Tempest's Spine was a great run

Within a week nearly half of the group had been killed in other quests...

    Hail to fallen
    Stromberg at Threnal
    StrictOx at Threnal

    Wulfkiller at Xorian Cipher
    Azare at Xorian Cipher
    KevlarHeal at Xorian Cipher

These losses have made this quest a watershed experience for the guild, and one which may be difficult to achieve for a short while.

Call me silly, but the "standard" set of permadeath rules just doesn't seem to earn its name... should be "permadeath until level 7" or something like that.

Silly Strakeln . A rezer in the party is no guarantee of survival, of all the characters in The Sublime that have gained the ability to raise a dead teammate only two are still alive.

    Sublime Rezzers:
Jarrex (Level 9 Cleric) died in Xorian Cypher to a chaos orb
Liah (Level 7 Bard) died in The Pit, ambush at the last switch
Mortania (Level 9 Rogue/Pally) [can't remember the quest]
Hamlet (Cleric) [can't remember the quest]
Kevlarheal (Level 9 Cleric) died in Xorian Cypher
Hamilton (Level 10 Cleric) felled by The Lag Patch and an elite Night Scorpion

    Living Rezzers:
    Kaland (cleric)
    Mechonarscism (rogue/pally)

I've probably spelled half the names wrong, our website is down right now

I was checking out the wiki entry on you folks, one part struck a chord:

Not tough enough for you? You're more than welcome to place even harsher rules on yourself. don't pass on an item at death/delete on a bug death/don't accept a raise dead/etc...
Pretty much the same thing I'm always preaching to people who want their own special purpose server. Guess I should take my own advice

I have a permadeath character too.

See what happens is, if there is a wipe, and someone leaves the group, I just invite a high level cleric from my guild to come inside and ressurect me.

    Works every time!

Yeah.. perma-death isn't really anything special when bards, rogues, sorcerers, clerics, paladins and some of the other classes can all raise dead via UMD scrolls.
