End game weapon unmatched by anything, wp i have had more than one and i gave one and sold 4 so i know what they sell for, im happy that one of the buyers confirmed here in the thread that he bought it , i dont bs about sutff there would be no point .If the SS buyer could speak up would be nice but it dont matter anyway ...

They were going that price 1 month ago 3 months ago and one year ago (even more than ah one year ago ), try and sell one and let us know ....

BTW theres a lot of players that have more than a million plat id say so when something sells for 10 mill it doesnt mean its a plat farmer that bought it, that theory keeps coming up and its based on what ... In that particular case we "KNOW " its not the case and its not speculating ...

Because you havent been lucky enough to make good deals on ah or had uber pulls to get rich doesnt mean anyone else has (kardins eye bloodstone ancestors ring ring of spell storing all those used to go for 20 million not so long ago ) 2 pulls like that in a week and one or 2 +2 tomes and its done u can buy all you want on the auction ....

And jstarr if i would have known it was you man we could have cut the ah cut i tried to put my SS here (on forums)and no one offered anything i got tired and posted on ah and sold it then got the pick that day and sold it too ...

And as far as the other server goes what does it matter we are on thelanis right ?

I don't mind the discussion about values at all. It's interesting seeing other people's conceptions of value. I've had a couple offers, not close to the 36 larges that are being offered for a w/p rapier on Sarlona, but close enough that I'm considering it.

I've noticed that items are consistently higher value on Thelanis as opposed to Sarlona, so just because people would pay less plat on Sarlona (as has been mentioned) simply means that we have had more inflation then their server. Compared to other things there, such as the shield piece 3 and 4 I saw on the Sarlona AH for 500kpp buyouts, it makes sense that there is less plat in circulation on Sarlona, and hence is worth more than our plat.

To JFeenstra: Could I list a few masterwork daggers on the AH for 20mil buyout and argue that they must be worth as much as +2 tomes? No, I'd get flamed down in seconds, heh. They're listed for more than people are willing to pay, hence they are still there, and won't be bid on.

it was stated previously that tome pages sell for ~7.5-8 mil regularly, 2 tome pages + 2 large ing is a decent offer weighing in at around 16-17 mil gp for an item that's worth 10-12 mil, tops

Based solely on prices on the AH, I already have a better offer for the shortsword, but thanks JFeenstra. Also, you do know that while you're offering two tome pages, you never said which ones, and also said that one was not one that I need. It's just really not in my interests unless you add more, sorry.

Hey JF.(and any others that might be interested)...just to clarify, the last rapier that was sold on the AH was for MAX - 2 mil plat...but that does not mean that it is worth that...thats the AH value not its REAL value (the real value would probably be over 10 mil plat but I still would not sell ANY of my rapiers for that). To prove the point, I know that last W/P rapier that was traded was for 2 FULL sets of tome pages and 3 +2 tomes. Now considering a SS is not worth as much as a rapier I would still say its worth ALOT more than 2 tome pages and 2 large ingredients...there is NO question here. I would say the SS is worth at least 12 large ingredients or a FULL set of tomes pages IMO...but thats just me...
