Thanks for the interest, as far as numbers go, I'd want more than one tome page, and more than 6 large components. Considering how much w/p weapons have gone for, it's not unreasonable to ask for multiple items in trade.

Sold WP SS last thursday a +2 cold iron for 20 million on ah ,and a heavy pick for 17 million on friday ...
They still are the most sought weapons in game i think ...

That's because only a small percentage of the people read the forums. I'd LOVE to have a W/P shortsword...I'm just too broke!

It was not that people don't read the forums, it was most likely purchased by plat farmers who can sell it for real money on their websites. I have heard people will pay as much as 100+ dollars for such items. This sucks because now some turd cheater will buy it from these sorry suckers and the "real players" on this forum will not be employing the items in game.

I would say to most of you, if there is someone in game that can afford to pay 20 mil for an item they most likelu have an account on the forums and they play regularly. I would ask that all of us keep these rare items within the forum faithful or sell/trade them to a friend/guildmate. You may take a loss every once and awhile but it will be returned to you.

well, tome pages are listed on the AH at 15-20 mil buyouts...one's fairly reasonable...but i'd trade both i have considering i don't need them, even if ones not one you need you could always sell it or trade it for one you do need

I think you mean 2 mil gp. Otherwise a deathnip would bve worth 18 million pp.

Just because tome pages are listed for a 2mil plat buyout doesn't mean thats what they are worth. I'd want more than two tome pages, especially if one is not one that I need.

no, they're listed for 10-15 million gp, go look at the AH* cheapest i saw listed was 8 mil gp

if they were 2 mil gp i'd be buying them and selling them to plat farming sites because a full set is worth ~$600US and it takes no time to make 2 million gp in this game

if you want to talk plat value of the ss based on the AH, you have to take AH value of tome pages, where 1 is a fairly equal trade, two you should be sending me something to add to the deal lol

anyways, i'll throw you the two tome pages and two large ing of my choice, but any more than that is just not worth it unless it's a rapier

Yep, until they get down to where they're sold at which point you won't be able to screenshot them. I think this is a holdover from the old days where if you accidently clicked on an item it would bid on it. Plat farmers used to love to put junk, literally junk, on the ah for absurb prices just in case this accidently happened.

I have sold the SS and th heavy pick up until about a month ago i had tome page 2 and 7 and i resigned myself after putting for 12 million buyout for 3 days then 10 million (1 mill plat ) buyout for 3 days then 8 mill for 3 days , it finally sold for 7.5 million buyout collected about 5 ...

Before that i sold at least 40 tome pages and i never got more than 7.5 million buyout , can someone tell us that they have sold one for 20 million buyout ?

Whats listed for and what an item sell for is very different ,i sold a +2 WP cold iron SS thursday (2 million plat 20 million gold whatever you wanna call it ) and a + 1 heavy pick WP minimum level 10 friday for 17 million gold or 1.7 million plat buyout .

So i can tell you that it just dont only get listed for that price it sells at that price if the tomes would sell at 20 million would there be 6 pages of tome pages on AH how many WP SS can you find tonight on ah ? Answer ? 0

Wow, for 2M plat I might put mine on AH tonight. (+1, no RR, very little damage)

Honestly, who gets that much real value in using one? Compared to other things you could buy for 2M plat I mean. Is it only 2WF folks? I worked a long time to trade up to one for my Drow rogue13/F3 (who hits well enough: sword-n-board in melee, IC: crit, normally with Divine Favor clicky or FAB active...) and I still don't see the value. Whenever I'm using one it seems someone steps up and vorpals whatever before I can take it down from CON damage. (Ya, I still need a finessible vorpal LOL.) I don't see much real difference between the w/p ss and the holy/puncturing rapier I was previously using.

So do you need to wield 2 for stat damage to really pay off? I'm not re-spec'ing all my feats for 2wf, so would I be better trading this off?

2 Million plat is a ridiculous amount to pay for a w/p ss (Granted was a +2 and cold iron but still) and a hvy pick for 1.7 million...nuts.... Grats on selling them.

Heck, there's threads on other server forums talking about 700-800k plat buyouts for w/p ss now.
