I have some +4 Mithral Twilight Full Plate I'm thinking about trading. What do you guys think? This would be good for a Drow Caster.

Does it look cool ?
Depends on the person you're trading it to...I'm interested in it but am currently wearing +3 TMFP (of lesser sonic resist of all things) and won't break my pocket book upgrading for one AC. Would probably value it around a set of +5 MFP.
Note...I'm not rich, but I do have a decent stock of items if you'll point me in the right direction.

the drow caster that uses this armor has spent points to reduce the spell failure chance and has slightly higher strength to handle the extra weight and has also forgone the benefits of rapidly switched out robes. All this in an attempt to get an AC of 30 at best... maybe 40 with a shield and a few other items. I dare say that it would severly hamper a casters ability.
"Does it look cool" is the best selling point IMO
A bard may find some value in it
Just based on cool factor alone ie "awesome my wizard wears full plate" I'd pay 50K for the twighlight mitheral combo with a +4 bonus.
Not much more ..... its more a cool gimmick item than it is useful...... I wouldnt say no at 50K
nice pull (last minute stray thought ............. I was thinking of building a fighter/mage.... the armor would work for that also....still 50K...+5 and fearsome or invulnerable then we can talk another30k or so)
Ever bleed out in a thornbush? Welcome to UD14.
so looks like 5% spell failure is the best you could get out of it for a wiz/sorc type. not horrible. about -100 sps for a sorc at 16th. I just hate spell failure. It's still a cool item though. Somebody must want it.
The armor is really item/build specific...
Currently wearing my +3 TMFP on an Elven SpellBlade (1 Pal/6Ftr/7Wiz), able to hit mid 50's with CE using a +5 Mith Large Shield and the Titans 7 Fingered gloves for an ASF of 0%. Alternately the Fanged Gloves drop it to 0 with a Mith Light Shield.
As I said, if you think of some things that you want let me know and we'll go from there.

Thanks for the input guys. As far as for only selling it for 50k plat I know from experience that a caster can take alot more hit and survive wearing armor than robes. Here's another point this armor is best for drow sorcs who pull alot of aggro! A pally/sorc build would also benefit from it. I'm gonna go ahead and place this in the same category as +5 Mithral Fullplate and +4 Fearsome Mithral Fullplate. This item will probably go up in value as more classes become available like spell swords or a blade singer. Not to mention there will probably be an item that will reduce asf by 15% in the future.

It would be a pretty nice set of armor for a STR based battle bard I'd imagine but I have never played one.
