Wtt Large Ingredients For Tome Pieces

I have not one tome piece but enough large ingredients to hopefully get a full tome set when the smoke clears.

List what large ingredient you want and what tome piece(s) you are willing to part with. I would expect some of the larger ingredients that drop will less frequency will command more than one tome piece.

Will entertain package deals to get er done faster!

Just to set expectations ... Large ingredients drop randomly: some people get too mainy bones, some chains, etc etc. I always see people with different things they wont take because they have too many. Also, Large ingredients drop 0-3 per one completion run. You're a lucky cuss to get more than one tome page per ransack.

actually you can get up to 2 larges at any given time in chests in part 4 and 5.

so it's really 0-8.

You're really very likely to just get 1 large per run if you do 1-5.

really? Cause ive run shroud as much as anyone, NEVER seen 2 outta one.. and NEVER seen a single one outta the other chests guys... think without screen shots you'll get ALOT of ppl callin bs..

Still getting a feel for trading. Wide range of opinion on trade value. I think 3 larges per tome piece is steep considering that would be two tier 3 upgrades or one tier 3 upgrade with an aspect.

I was hoping there would be people with random tome pieces that were never going to make a set with it. In turn I could trade my large ingredients I have no plans for.

i agree with stalks because he hasn't run it as much as i have . its 0-2 per run. if u got 2 in 1 chest someone gave it to u. only 1 chest in phase 4 and 1 in phase 5 drop ingredients.

Well ... i have no clue how much you run it so I cant comment, but I live in there these days on 3 toons. Yes, there are only two chests that have ever dropped large ingredients. Yes, I have never seen more than one out of part 4 (seems about 50/50 for 0/1). I have however gotten 2 out of 5. Often I get one and a shard or one and a cell. It kind of seems like you get 1, then the other one can be a shard, a cell, or another large ... or nothing I guess.

Regardless ... My point was larges require much less effort than tome pages these days. And yes ... 3 each would be 24, wich would give you Skiver/Deathnip for the price of one dual shard upgrade. Maybe a silly trade for a melee ... not so silly for a caster since nothing you can craft comes close to the usefulness of Skiver. To add to that ... last full tome set I know of in game went for 20 and the last one I saw on the forum went for 16.

Simple here folks.. ingredients are NOT shards or power cells, they are INGREDIENTS.. so YES you can pull a power cell with an ingredient, YES you can pull a shard with an ingredient, NO you cant pull another ingredient with an ingredient. As far as the ease with which one can obtain large ingredients based on groups actually running the quest and drop rates, yes i would agree its a fair amount easier to get ingredients than specific tomes you would need :P

Based on my account I've completed at least 60 times(one on hard and 8ish on elite), many with Stalks, Mav and my other guildies and I've never seen anyone ever get 2 larges in either phase 4 or 5 but I have seen Stalks get 0 ingrediants many, many a time which is why I'm sure he's so particular about this thread haha. What I'd guess is someone by accident clicked to grab it and might have accidentally traded it to you in one of the long shard delays. So lets say 11 out of the 12 people have finished each run with me x 60 completions we're talking 660 part 5 chests and none of them have ever pulled two in that chest. The most likely situation is that it isn't possible and you benefitted from someone who was generous or it was a pure accident. Anyways, you're the one who ended up with 2 in 1 and Stalks has none! Haha.
