What are two things that would make you sad if they were ever changed?
    1. The ability to easily travel to a quest
    2. The female halfling laugh sound

    Question 3
Do you enjoy reading the storyline of the quests? If so, what is your favorite quest story?
Honestly, I usually read it once then kind of forget about it. No favorite comes to my mind now.

    Question 1
Other than custom made equip-able treasure items (weapons, armor/robes, shields, accessories) what other things would you like to produce through crafting?
Let me craft quests! (I don't really care about crafting).

    Question 2
What is one in-game "myth" that you find you frequently have to dispell?
Frequency of raid loot drops. And I can't really dispel it, because people just have their own beliefs and won't change it. Some think all elite loot scale to 25%. Some think it does not scale at all in some raids. Some think the DQ elite is bugged and never gives any loot. Etc...

    Question 3
What is your favorite class (or class combination for you multi-classers) and why?
I'd say my barbarian/rogue, because this combination offers a lot of versatility that I wouldn't have with only one of these classes.

    Question 1
What is your least favorite DDO creature, and why?

Air elementals (including those elves that turn into air elementals in Running with the Devils). I hate getting blown all over the place, especially when it happens in the Reaver raid and I then get sucked up into the spikes by reverse gravity.

    Question 2
What are two things that would make you sad if they were ever changed?

The cmbat system and the integrated voice chat.

    Question 3
Do you enjoy reading the storyline of the quests? If so, what is your favorite quest story?

I enjoy reading them (when I have the chance). I like the VON's and how we run into Haywire in later quests. I'd like to run into more of those folks.

That only one person can be on the bridges in VON6 at a time.

    Question 3

    Question 2
What is one in-game "myth" that you find you frequently have to dispell? (example: Some players believe that their haggle skill affects the quality of the treasure they will receive in chests. This is incorrect)

Class pigeonholing I suspect is the most persistent myth.

    Question 3
What is your favorite class (or class combination for you multi-classers) and why?

I love my Sorcerer. Incredibly powerful, blasting through monsters in record time while remaining untouched is good fun and playing her inspires confidence which means a positive mind set as soon as I log her on!

    1. Scrolls, Potions and wands [as per D&D]...Wonderous items could be cool also - I loved the Ebony Fly! Item could be a summonning clicky...not sure how a more than single day timer would work, unless it were set up to lock out like raids.

    2. sorry, got nuthin'

    3. I like Clerics, Cleric/Rogues, and Warforged Mages/anything because they are relatively easy to solo [at least at low levels <6]

    1) Inifnite Usage Wands, Unbind bound items, raise Spell DC and Damage Range on wands(like +20% per craft, increase stacks.... and yes that means if someone spends every day for two years increasing the damage on a Magic Missile wand it should infinitely cast 250,000 point Magic Missiles).

    2) 20th completions on raids don't really give you anything useful, just things you might want a fourth or fifth copy of.

    3) Ranger. Balanced all-around functional class. Good in most extreme situations and can self heal in addition to potions, and makes full use of all ranged weaponry(unlike other classes that do not attain Improved Precise Shot).

    4) Infinite.

    Question 1
What is your least favorite DDO creature, and why?
The Warforged Titan. Shooting a giant laser at a giant robot doesn't seem very D&D-like to me.

    Question 2
What are two things that would make you sad if they were ever changed?
First thing is if loot for raids was ever changed from the static two items to less. Oh wait. Already happened.
Second one would be if the nice community of Tharashk were to be scattered due to a useless server merge. Oh wait.

    Question 3
Do you enjoy reading the storyline of the quests? If so, what is your favorite quest story?
Wait. Quests have story lines? Since when? I'm used to just clicking an NPC and pressing my "select first choice" button til I see the "quest bestowed" message.

    Question 1
Other than custom made equip-able treasure items (weapons, armor/robes, shields, accessories) what other things would you like to produce through crafting?
I don't know if this counts as accessories or whatnot, but I'd love to see wands and scrolls added to crafting. Things like Dimension Door scrolls being removed seemed harsh and unnecessary, but it can be remedied by letting us craft them.

    Question 2
What is one in-game "myth" that you find you frequently have to dispell? (example: Some players believe that their haggle skill affects the quality of the treasure they will receive in chests. This is incorrect)
Ah yes, good question. I constantly had to dispel the myth that VON5/6 could not be duo'd. My paladin and another player could pull all 6 switches past the lightning traps. People constantly said nobody could get all 3 switches in time, but they've never seen a true powergamer in action!

    Question 3
What is your favorite class (or class combination for you multi-classers) and why?
Sorcerer. I can buff my minions... err... I mean party members, throw them a haste, and watch them do all the dirty work for me.

    Question 4
Pick one word...any word... but only one.

    Question 1
What is your least favorite DDO creature, and why?

Tie between Super Intelligent Ooze (oh look, the ooze is flanking me) and Earth Elementals (Earthgrab from 14 miles away)

    Question 2
What are two things that would make you sad if they were ever changed?

Resource Management Aspect of Dungeons -- I believes this gives the developers a lot of unique space to work with and I would really like to see them explore this further. It's fairly unique to DDO that leveling isn't about can you kill Monster X, rest and kill Monster X again but can you complete assigned task X using your limited resources.

Opportunities for unique character builds -- Half of the fun is seeing what you can do w/ the character options you are provided. That's why I am really excited about monks (and druids) ... adding a class doesn't just give you monks, it gives you rogue/monks, fighter/monks, etc.

    Question 3
Do you enjoy reading the storyline of the quests? If so, what is your favorite quest story?

I admit that sometimes I skip right through this part. I used to read every quest, but now they repeat so much (there must be 8 quests where I "rescue" person X and then they betray me) that I don't always get into the story arcs. Off the top of my head I like HIPS and BAM as they tie into lowbie adventures nicely.

    This week's question(s) are:

    Question 1
Other than custom made equip-able treasure items (weapons, armor/robes, shields, accessories) what other things would you like to produce through crafting?

This is dangerous territory ... finding a balance between making crafting useful and making crafting not overpowered is going to be very difficult. I think there are some gaps that need covering (shield wands higher than level 1 for example), but I would rather see the developers add things slowly watching the power creep, then to see them add things too quickly and to have it spiral out of control.

    Question 2
What is one in-game "myth" that you find you frequently have to dispell? (example: Some players believe that their haggle skill affects the quality of the treasure they will receive in chests. This is incorrect)
Rogues cannot do anything in combat.

    Question 3
What is your favorite class (or class combination for you multi-classers) and why?
Tie between Sorc/Pally and Rogue/Pally/Fighter. The Sorc/Pally is just plain fun, decent combat and nice magic. You can solo, you can group. Full rogue leaves something to be desired, splashing Pally helps you survive a bit longer (helpful for when those sneak attacks start generating aggro) and fighter gives a few extra feats to spice up the build.

    Question 4
Pick one word...any word... but only one.
    Valence

    1. Potions and stuff; various bags to keep bolts, components, etc. in; music; distinctive clothes; and of course, a flying carpet

    2. Myth, not many floating around anymore

    3. Cleric, despite poverty - it's a tough class to play well and I enjoy the challenge - do need more skill options though

1: Guild structures, castles, keeps, fortresses, towers, and new skins for our armor, helms, shields etc.

2: The game sucks. It's a common debate over at MMORPG.com

3: Sorcerer - Eleven sorcerer, 52 ac buffed, spamming intimidate, AoE dmg, crowd control, and the ability to dump my agro onto a party that annoys my by hitting Diplomacy. Nothing funnier then watching everyone in a pug die when the golden handshake appears while I'm standing there laughing. ok, I'm not *that* bad.

Whatever you do, please make use of the collectible we currently find in quests like cryptmoss, powdered blood, skull fragments, dung beetles etc. For some perverse reason I delight in gathering the collectibles even though I know the rewards are always an utter disappointment. It would be better if the collectibles could be made into something actually valuable.

I'd also like to see some of the left over bound quest items be worked into crafting. Wouldn't it be cool to make an amulut from the glass eye of Khyber which you stole from kobolds in a 2nd level quest. How about turning those ancient daggers from the crypt you were supposed to give to goodblade into something deadly.

I feel the crafting sytem needs to do at least one of the following, preferably all 3, to be worthwhile.

    (1) Offer the crafter an opportunity for great personal accomplishment. Don't make crafting an exercise in supporting platnium farmers on the auction house; link crafting to an act by the crafter (you must be the one who personally slays the giants with an ordinary sword before it can be crafted into greater giant bane). Or allow the accomplished crafter to create an uber powerful item but one that must be bound to the crafter.

    (2) Use crafting as a means for characters to make themselves look different from one another. No one wants to look like a clone.

    (3) Allow crafting to create consumables that have monetary value in the game

    • FEATS: Craft warforged cybernetic parts that can be grafted onto both warforged and nonwarforged alike. Permanently give up a ring slot to bind an artificial robot hand that grants an exotic weapon feat. Permanently give up a trinket slot to bind an iron heart that grants the toughness feat. Permanently give up a goggle slot to bind the eye of the hunter that grants an ranged weapon specialization. The community has repeatedly told Turbine that one of the things the like about DDO is character customization. The ability to craft feats would further support this. It could be a great way to give players more options and a sense of accomplishment but it could be potentially unbalancing if items could just be bought on the auction house. It might be best if Feat items would be bound to the crafter and could not be sold on the auction house. The ultimate item in crafting if you will.

    • GOLEMS: The most accomplished crafters could make(summon) iron/flesh/stone golems (probably should be bound to the crafters). Lesser crafters could make mindless automatons in the mold of albino warforged that are rooted in one location that could only perform one task over and over. Summon your automaton in a door way and instruct it to swing an axe nonstop. Other automatons could be created with single functions like fire a crossbow at all enemies in range, cast fear at all enemies in range, cast cure light wounds at all party members, taunt monsters to draw agro (and explode when destroyed).

    • FIGURINES OF WONDEROUS POWER: See the Dungeon Masters Guide

    • WIGS : Want a hot pink afro 2 ft in diameter, or hair entwined with snakes like a medusa? Maybe minotaur horns are in vogue. Players don’t want their characters to look like everyone else in the game.

    • EMBLEM: Overlay the emblem of the Emerald Claw on that boring old shield. Place the sign of House Deneth on your drab armor. Decorate unfashionable robe with the repeating pattern of dozens of black skulls.

    • WINGS: Angel wings, fairie wings, demon wings – they don’t have to do anything other than make a character look different from the rest of the world. Of course some items could grant small bonuses; +1 to jump, +1 to balance, haste, feather fall, etc. Strangely mechanical wings could be designed for specific functions, giant tuning forks that help detect secret doors by vibration for example.

    • MASK: Consider the elaborate costumes from masques – a character could have a simple mask of Zorro to a baroque visage of a golden lion. Warforged characters could have a new face crafted that wasn’t available with the standard selection during character creation (how about a Cyclops for instance).

    • GLASS EYES (Gem Eyes): Who wants boring standard eye colors when you could replace your eye with a glowing yellow gem or one that shines a red laser beam. Maybe just a solid black sphere with an 8 ball where the iris would be. How about the holy symbol of your god. The eyes could be cosmetic or offer some power (+1 spot, protection from blindness, etc.)

    • TRAPS: Craft chemical landmines that explode with acid or grease or an adhesive that holds a monster in place. Existing game technology could be used - summon a flaming sphere that doesn’t move to act as a barrier trap.

    • CONTAINERS: Scroll cases, quivers, gem bags, collectible bags, small pouches, a lock box that provides a few extra slots within bank storage

    • COSMETIC SURGERY: Adding armor dyes to the game is a good start but it is not enough. Every month I hear some player lament that they have found a powerful item but it just doesn’t look cool enough to be used. Changing its color won’t change a dorky looking helmet. But what if a top crafter could take an existing helmet and make it look like the pelt of a wolf head, or antlers of a stag? My ranger would pay top dollar for that look. Give crafters the ability to alter the appearance of existing magic items to create unique and cool designs that would otherwise not be found in the game.

    • CONSUMABLES: Healing potions, dimension door scrolls, recharge wands, magic ammunition, etc.

    • ENHANCE ENHANCEMENTS: Link crafting of certain items with enhancements. Before you can craft the lightning rod of storm bringers you must have the Wizard Energy Manipulation III. Offer the reverse possibility; craft a wand that does nothing but provide the Lineage of Force I enhancement when equipped.

Something that I didn't realize for over 2 years was that a halfling could use a great sword. I had no idea that weapons would shrink to fit; I assumed PNP rules applied making anything longer than a short sword too big for a halfling.

Sorcerer. Arcane spells are fun and generally well executed by turbine. The fact that sorcerers are limited in which spells they choose makes them feel more distinct and custom made from other spell casters. Will my sorcerer be a necromancer or an enchant & buff bot or a shock/lightning specialist or an arcane arsonist or a master of wands. These are fun concepts to build around, particularly since the enhancement system supports differentiation

    Question 1
What is your least favorite DDO creature, and why?

Scorpions. The burrowing thing is super annoying, and they "bug out" way to often

    Question 2
What are two things that would make you sad if they were ever changed?

Having 2 guarenteed raid items per raid...(oh wait that did happen...) Having static rewards after chain quest...(oh wait that already happened too...) on a serious note it would make me sad if rage no longer stacked with other types of rage, and if steath was fixed so that it worked. (it would cutt down on my zerging)

    Question 3
Do you enjoy reading the storyline of the quests? If so, what is your favorite quest story?

Yes I do, the VON series has the best story line. Marek's lines after Veil's and Haywire's quest are too funny.

    This week's question(s) are:

    Question 1
Other than custom made equip-able treasure items (weapons, armor/robes, shields, accessories) what other things would you like to produce through crafting?

Change Colors/Skins of equipment. Make scrolls/wands

    Question 2
What is one in-game "myth" that you find you frequently have to dispell? (example: Some players believe that their haggle skill affects the quality of the treasure they will receive in chests. This is incorrect)

I have not seen to much of this

    Question 3
What is your favorite class (or class combination for you multi-classers) and why?

Rogue multis well with anything. Fighter does as well.

    Question 4
Pick one word...any word... but only one.

    Medusa
...the eyes of a ghastly white vampire stare back at you...his fangs gleam in the light from your torches and lanterns...In your heart, you know that most who have seen this face never lived to see another
