DDO Reinstall

I need to reinstall DDO. I was wondering what files I need to save so I don't have all the download time. I know I have read on another thread, but I can't find it.

Seems like all the .DAT files would do it.
Might wait for a more 'matter of fact' answer tho.

I'm not sure if you are doing a reinstall because of the game being buggy or because of a reinstall of XP (like I did) but what I did was copied the entire game file to a dvd then I reinstalled XP. After I was able to get everything up and running I reinstalled the game from the game disks and copied all of the game files back into the game folder and clicked yes to all when it found duplicate game files. This worked for me only because I needed to reinstall XP on my machine and I had a different drive letter that the game was going to be installed on. Good luck with it.

the .dat files are the biggest download portion so if you can only backup those that would be fine. You will want to reinstall with the disk first, then move the dat files into the folder, then update the game.
