    Default Account Reactivate Charge ?

    I had my DDO account lapse at one point due to card not passing. I let it sit lapsed for a while the later reactivated it with updated card info (almost a year later).

    Now I am being told that I owe Turbine fees for the period that my account was inactive. From my experience with other MMOs in the industry, this is not normal. Is this actually Turbine policy ?

    Umm i think you must have read that wrong..... I Doubt Turbine is charging you for time period you had an inactive account ....That would be silly..and they would never get anyone back

    Unless they got a charge back from your old card this doenst sound right I let my account go inactive for 6-7 months and just paid for my new month when I got back. If you got a month of play and they got a charge back they will expect that money.

    I rather agreee with that, but the first tier response from email support basically said that. I suspect they are wrong, and figured this would be a good place to hopefully get an authoritative response to correct whoever the first tier responder is.

    If you had multiple failed payments and/or credit card chargebacks, yes, it is possible you would owe money in order to reinstate your account. Our billing system does not charge during periods of inactivity, but that does not mean that any owed money would disappear from the account.
