I suppose the arguement is that here we will sit for perhaps 2+ months (yawn) with nothing to do but loot runs and tweak out our toons. This would be the case for spending big plat on having a super pit fiend beater.

I suppose but ... there's no big difference between taking 3 waves to kill him and taking 2 waves to kill him. Well maybe if you only have 1 cleric... but even then... if you kill him in 1-2 waves all the time how the heck are you going to collect 100 healing fragments! Hehehe....

The weapon does an extra 10.5 damage per hit Versus a regular + 5 Transmuting Khopesh. *twirls finger* I guess if the group utterly sucks and you have an utterly crappy weapon VS. the Pit fiend and I dunno.... actually no that argument doens't hold... because there's TONS of transmuters on the AH... so nevermind.

Let me try to come up with another argument.... I guess if you're in a group that utterly sucks and that every single extra damage point to the pit fiend could actually make a difference between killing him and the group wipping, then yes absolutely it is worth 300K.

You peps are just too uber with your one wave Pit fiend kills to understand the extra needs of the less fortunate.

If it was holy burst, ok 300kpp might not cut it.

But 300kpp for this weapon is more than enough.

I bought a +5 transmuting BS of Maiming for 5kpp, work it out.

It all comes down to what the percieved value of the item. To him 300k plat isn't to alot of us it is. It is in how you percieve the weapon. Someone just may come out and offer 500k plat never know doubt it but if someone does it is because they percieve it as being valuable where as you and others may not. No need to attack and troll the guy if what he percieves is different than yours. Make your point and move on.

To poster of the first offer, I would sell and extra to you for that amount if I had the extra, it's not an unreasonable offer..
I would be wtp a good amount of a +5 holy burst silver kopesh of pg..which is possible and crazy better lets remember. But this isn't a price check thread so shame on all of us I say.

Very nice pull! The fact of the matter is not everyone is a kopesh user. Alot people who have been playing this game since beta have everything they want for their toons and have nothing else to spend their plat on (except ultra high repair bills). Shoot I've been guilty of spending a ridiculous amount of plat to upgrade some of my gear from +4 to +5. Seriously what are you saving all that plat for ??? Come on people ya can't buy anything real with it anyways!!! Give the guy a break and ask yourself what would you sell it for if you pulled it??? I know some people would try getting 15 large ingredients for (you know who you are)!! This is one of the finest Pit fiend beaters of all time!! Chances are there will be more pit fiends (or even more vampires) in the future and this will be worth even more! Don't worry System Failure don't let these guys get to you. I remember getting laughed at because I posted the fact that vorpals and banishers would be useful in mods to come but guess who's laughing now!

Just been sitting back watching you guys complain about this. I never claimed that it was not a reasonable offer i just said its not going to get it from me. I'm using the weapon on my batman at the moment and no 300k plat is not worth that much to me because i can make that back in a day. If you don't want it then don't post lol. And if i was auctioning off the weapon i would have said a starting bid and an ending time, but its not so i said I'm taking offers on it. If someone offers something i'm willing to trade it for then it would be gone otherwise I'll keep using it.

If I were on this server Id pay probably 500k pp. In the hands of an elf melee with enhancements and due to the fortification on the pit fiend making crits not matter it will outdmg a khopesh in the same persons hands.
