What MOB I would like to see in DDO:

Hydras! <-- this would be beyond awesome, but I would expect there to be multiple types such as a 3 headed and 12 headed Hydra.

Wyverns! The Pit Fiend flys around, these could too!

Unbeatable Randomly Spawning Unique Daemon/Devil in an outdoor area!
    "RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!"

Mimics! "Look at the size of that chest!" (these should be random spawns with the chance of being a real chest)

otuygues (sp?) These were plant like things with tendrils and such.

Random mimic instead of that chest? Stuff that in your 'rinse and repeat' pipe and smoke it.

Otyughs (at least that's the Wikipedia spelling) would be cool, not to mention extremely doable. We've already got filth fever coded, and they have more reason to come springing out of the ground than skellies do.

My vote too for displacer beasts, blink dogs, hydras, lurkers above.

May be a pain to code, but ropers would be cool. Ranged attacks that suck in whoever was so unwise as to pull the aggro.

I seem to remember there being a living wall that would subdue and absorb adventurers, and an undead bone version of the same, not to mention a slime that just looked like a wall. Let's make people afraid of the walls and ceilings as well as the floors.

big thing would be to make more random spawns. Some of the niftier critters only work when they're surprises.

The giant ants, they had a specific name to them but it escapes me at the moment, I remember seeing them in Baldur's Gate. Anybody remember that game? There was a side quest where if you got enough scales from the kills, there was an armor smith that would craft you a nice set of ant-scale plate for a huge fee. The big thing was that is was lighter than it's metal counterpart.

The devs will likely note that for a Shifter type ability prototyping... as Lycanthropy is a disease that causes shifting...

    maybe?

    I would.

Werewolves third'd, and put in some Mindflayers, Thralls, and an Elder Brain. NWN twisted my head a bit with that storyline...

    Ankhegs would be awesome.

I'd also love to see those ant-people, I think called Formians.

    Watery outsider or plants, because:
    Spell: Horrid Wilting
Deals 1d6 per caster level (max 20d6) damage to living targets by evaporating moisture from their bodies. Deals 1d8 per caster level (max 20d8) damage to water subtype outsiders and plants.
