A lot of threads with some strong opinions on how bad it is to be a cleric, how to play a cleric properly etc.
Last 2 weeks, as I've leveled from 6 -> 9 as a casual player, and a cleric, have been quite a joy to play. Last night I was invited to my first raid, Tempest Spine, along with another level 9 cleric who was new to the raid.
I was handed a pair of CSW wands at the start, and I burned 1 of them. I had several other offers of help, but I turned them down since I'm 1 CSW wand ahead of the game.
Since I PUG a lot, I've had a few bad moments, but overall, the Argo player base has made me feel welcome, and helped me out enough that being a cleric hasn't put a drain on my bank account. Thats as a crappy Drow turning based cleric. Imagine how the real clerics are being treated out there!
I'll dig this thread up when I'm level 16, to see if my impressions from my first 3 months of play have changed dramatically.
So a shout out to the folks I've grouped with recently! Argonneseennoninosesson is doing a good job with its cleric base.
