After thinking about this, I don't think we really need a raid-party window like WoW, but it would be a help if we can shuffle people around in the raid health bars. Our current system has everyone in two columns but they do not correspond across everyone's screen in the raid. You are always in column one at the top. So, we can't really assign clerics to a group for healing or do much of anything that involves an organized raid window.
This is what I was thinking: We create a new UI tab that will let only the raid leader move people between columns, but everyone would still show at the top of the health bars on their own screen. Except, if you get moved to column 2, you would show at the top of column 2 instead of column 1 and your F-targeting would be inverted, i.e., F1 - F6 would be the right column, F7 - F12 would be the left column. However, everyone who gets moved to column 2 would show in column 2, in whatever order, on everyone's screen, but, you would always be F1 to target self. Even if targeting has been rebound to other keys, I still don't see this being a problem. What would also be great is if we can have "Name - F-key" in the health bars when in a party or raid. Or, if those keys are rebound to something else just have it show whatever key it is. The type of interface would be new tab in the options or a new window, it doesn't matter, where everyone is listed and there would be radio buttons used to assign to column 1 or 2. If too many people get moved over to one side, it would start reassinging spots automatically to keep it 6 x 2.
