+5 fearsome docent

Pulled a +5 fearsome docent of lesser acid resist (ML 16) in an elite shroud run last night.

I'm looking for:
Large scales (would take a few)
a scourge choker
a banishing rapier
+5 fearsome mithril breastplate or mithril chain shirt (I would sweeten)
+5 ice/acid guard mithril breastplate of axeblock
Large plat offer might be considered
or some other equally valuable offer


Everyone I know w/ a warforge wants it, so i'd say it has some value.

Not especially (it's basically a +5 Fearsome docent). WF Builds who want fearsome generally don't care about AC. WF Builds who care about AC can get the armour bonus elsewhere. The hot swappable nature of docents devalues +1-5, really they are all the same and all that matters is the added effects.

I'd say 100kpp would be a fair offer here, but his want list seems to dwarf that amount.

I don't see where I said anything about my own personal "uberness" (though it's true, I am possibly the most uber ever!) and I obviously had interest as I clicked on the thread - his wants just seem entirely disconnected from the actual value, imo.

Either you have ADD or simply made a choice not to read what followed that first statement. Regardless, gotta love the people who don't have WF saying what a great item it is...

At least I have a purpose here (see it offered at what I think is a reasonable level), annoying or not. What's your purpose here, besides the obvious 'none'?

You said you're interested, but it's obviously out of your price range. Or you're trying to lower the price by trying to devalue it. If it's out of your price range, then just Move Along.

Honestly I don't think much of Delt's attitude, but he's right. This is an item that fits a rather narrow market. That is what lowers the value of this item. Is it a great docent? Yes it is. The fact that it's a docent makes it appeal to about 10% of the population though. A WF Barb will have no interest in this at all since he probably has a 20 AC and this might boost him to a 22 or 23. You're now down to WF paladins, fighters, and rangers.

Congrats on a really nice find but I think you're going to be disappointed in the lack of interest this generates.

No, what your here to do is to de-value his pull. Nobody cares what you think it's worth. What they care about is what it is and what the owner is looking for in trade. It's up to them to decide of it is worth the cost. If they disagree then the proper route is a counter-offer or move on.

Why do you think your the price police? The highlight above is exactly the attitude that I refered too in my post. You obviously think that you know better what the item is worth and want to enforce your view on the thread.

If you truly had an interest in the item then your comment should have been in a PM with a counter-offer, not posted for everyone in an effort to poo-poo the OP's value of the item.
