Female Games Night

This idea was once buried in the posts of long ago. I felt like revisiting the idea.

Calling all female gamers: Lets have a "girls nite in"!!! Let's get together, crack the bubbly and run a raid or two. I think starting off easy -- Reaver -- is a good idea as we can get to know each other and our strengths. After that, if interest prevails, why not have a regular girls' nite, for us female gamers to get together and maybe realize we're not as rare as we think. We may even disprove the theory that there are no females in Stormreach!!!

My proposition: Friday, March 28 at 10:00 EST. We will start forming at 9:30. I will send invites to those who post interest here, those who do not, can send me ingame /tells and I can invite from there. I will be on Babydash.

Lets go ladies!

(do we need to specify you must have voice to prove your gender??!!?? NO BOYS ALLOWED!) /wink

Cool Idea, they do ladies night on Thelanis all the time.

I will try to find the Original thread and post it for you.

They usually do the same.

Have voice enabled to confirm you are female.

Or have another female who can CONFIRM you are female.

I'd love to join in, as I've been looking for a group of "regulars" to work with. But I don't think I'm high enough in exp to participate in any raids. But if you have anything I do qualify to participate with, count me in!

didn't know how to respond to that cleric reference.... grrr... i finally rolled up a cleric (my lasst 32 pt slot) out of some sense of duty to have one available. not all women like to play clerics.

also... it's comments like those that make me pretty sure voice isn't necessary to identify who are women and who are not.

Id love to join though I dont know if im ready to run something like the reaver yet. Kal is only level 12 but a girls night sounds like fun i'll have to see if the other girls in the guild can join to we are always running with the boys and listening to their nonsense it would be nice to run an all lady raid ^_^

Kalari - lvl 12 is fine. just need the pre-quests, those relics, and to be blooded. let me know if you need help. i have a lvl 11 fighter that needs to finish the pre-req's and blooding. personally i think the white dragon gives me more of a hard time than the raid.

Aeschyl - you too easy! we wuz messin'! if we couldn't take A: sarcasm or B: bad jokes or C: silly sexist comments we would have quit this game long ago.

I know Ive completed POP and Have dragon relics 6 of them I think, and I have 3 giant relics from a madstone run but I didnt get to finish it properly due to messing up the first time by not talking to the quest giver, then getting booted by my internet the last run. So I probably still need to do all the pre-req's and Ive never heard of blooding so im sure I need to do that to

Oh and Aeschyl *hugs* I got a giggle from the cleric thing I like playing casters mostly cause I can coordinate the robes better then armor. Though I would love to get some of that dragon scale armor that stuff is pretty. ^_^ I can hear the guys in my guild sighing again already lol.

Kalari - to get raid ready there are 3 pre-quests, 20 of each type relic (dragon, giant, elven) (making sure to turn these in to crag and not an armor-smith/crafter), and then the pre-raid including the 3 optional dragons (this is what is referred to as blooding - you have killed these 3 dragons, even though they are only optionals in the pre-raid). once you do these you do not have to repeat them (like vons 1 -5 in vault of night/velah raid).

Thank you Caelan for the tips I'll look into getting ready I keep my relics in the bank but ive only got 6 of the dragon, and 3 of the giant havent seen any elven yet. I'll have to try to run some giant hold tonight with my guild or find a pug that are doing it. Ive got 3 days im sure I can get it done.

/sigh I will NOT say mud is right.... but as I sit huddled over my dinosaur back-up laptop-that-I-keep-for-forum-emergencies while my baby awaits the TLC only a warranty tech can give, I have to wonder if it will be home for Friday...

huh...I havent been in an all girl group in a long time...
Nearly 2 years..and I was on poor deceased Pomme De Terre..my palidin...
ah...memories...
random pug, no VC forever...trip through ww...all of a sudden...I hear 5 other female voiced toning in...and I finally speak..
I think we were all suprised.
And we were all on male characters...
lol...

I could be...at your service...have bard, cleric, fighter ready for reaver, cleric n sorc ready for the shroud...given time I could get some more ready...
think my cleric and sorc are both demon Q and titan ready as well.
