Usually 1-to-1 trade works, 300k plat or more would get you full set from AH.

the best way is to price out what they sell for on the AH and then reduce your offer by 30% because that is what sellers will get for selling them on the AH. Blue scales have seem to taken on more value of late... maybe thats just because I need another 17 or so and I am just aware of the pricing.
I traded a bloodstone I didnt need for a set of blues awhile back. I felt like it was a fair deal both ways... especially because I didnt need the blood stone
