what kind of trade value to green steel blanks have?

i've got a blank unbound kopesh available.

Kargon happamen to be in the markamet for a green steel khopesh or two... maybe will take 100k plat for silly khopesh to save kargon some time farmaming for ingredimients? or have a wants list?

You didnt say you were selling, just asking for value. So...

I would say you could get 500k pp on the AH if your patient, maybe a little more. After AH fees that would break down to be close to 375k pp (guessing) on the forums as a straight sale. This would be for a motivated buyer who wants it now.

For someone not really in the market for one I think 150kpp - 250kpp would get them very interested.

I haven't done any of the raids for the shroud yet, but aren't they still a +5 weapon with an upgrade to the dice value damage even before any enchantments? Or aren't they useable until the first enchantment? Just wondering.

On Sarlona Auction House last night (Thursday 3/20), I saw a +5 greensteel khopesh blank listed for 750kpp buyout with a similar starting bid. I have no idea if it will actually sell for that.

ella - they bind on equip and can be used immediately....though a naked +5 probably won't be used by many.


later tonight; i suppose i will come up with a 'want' list....though a high plat offer might take it immediately.


i know they aren't that tough to get; but farming or buying the ingredients and running the 5 quests for the other pieces can be pretty time consuming.

Why did you make a khopesh if you don't have khopesh proficiency?

And, getting ingredients to make a green steel item is pretty easy nowdays if you have friends or are in a guild. The ingredients are not rare by any means and typically you don't have to invest any time into running the quests since a lot of people have a lot of extra ingredients lying around.

I think the only person who is going to offer you any large amount of plat or items for what you have is someone who doesn't have any friends

Anyways, with that in mind, you just never know what you'll get. Sometimes its quite a surprise what someone will pay.

and i was thinking...man i've got a ton of this level ingredients...

and i happen to have 5 extra stones lying around...

i wonder if there's any value in putting together a popular weapon and saving someone
the trouble of farming and crafting the first step....
