Clerics!

Is it just me or are you other clerics having this problem?

As soon as we get in a quest it starts...

Player 1: Can I have buffs true seeing,fire resist and death ward?
Player 2: Me too..but add in electric resist as well
player 3: Me too
Me: Whoh...hold your horses there...don't you guys have pots? I don't do that stuff get some clickies sheesh

needless to say I buff no one but myself and my pet rocky..
we stand around for a while until they stop yelling at me and sending me all these tells...

we begin...

we encounter or first mob...
the stupid fighters get agro and attempt to take down the mobs me and my pet ran ahead and got ..

Player 1: ***??? are you gonna heal us or just stand there watching?
Player 2: Need a heal!!...C'mon man please can I get a heal?
Player 3: At least put up a blade or something!
Me: Pffft get an AC losers ya see that blue bar...that's for me

Of course we win the fight (no thanks to the cry baby tanks)....
Again we stand around while all the yelling goes on again....

My pet goes away so I have to make another...
and buff him up...
while having to listen to the other players complain that they have to heal up so...
I squelch them.
The Sorc has the nerve to ask if I have any DV's so, I'm like do you?...
more grumbles...

So they all have like %10 health and sit around drinking pots and wand whipping each other....
while they are slacking off ....
I train another mob back to where we were resting


At the next fight the bard is franticly wand whipping the stupid fighters...
I create a mummy...
it turns on the fighters and begins kicking the snot out of them...
It kills the sorc right away and for some reason they all think this is my fault...
so I feel bad and give them a hero's feast..
the sorc now expects me to rez him...
I'm like you died from your own stupidity I don't fix that..
2 seconds later they all call out and break group...
they put up a LFM lookin for a cleric and wont let me join.

friggin noobs...I put them all on my "list"

lol omg, can u show me where in the ddo hand book it says a clerics job is to follow gimps and noobs around and spend all your cash keeping them alive...... sounds like wow would be more fun!

My clerics list is so huge Im hard pushed to find someone I can actually see/hear in a party.

Hell, even the guildies are squelched...n00bs.

If this is true, I would laugh.

I also doubt most of my toons would die......

It almost makes me want to buy some high lvl clerics account just so I can pull off the same kind of stunts!

(note: I have a healing cleric and all my toons who can heal others....even the BattleCleric....I hate it, but I do it)

I can only assume that you're looking for attention here, because In my two years of playing I have never seen a cleric behave that way. But If you do then I can understand why you would be removed from groups. Both of my mains are clerics so you can't claim that I don't understand and I have pugged more often than guild ran.
A cleric is the primary healer, secondary buffer and COMBAT caster, yes you can do all these things at once provided you know how to.
IMHO your play style..IF you actually play that way is very linear and ineffective. But something tells me that this story is somewhat embellished.

I been playin since headstart and I say this is the "only" way to play a cleric....
pffffttt you prolly even heal the lowly warforged!
