Are there any plans to allow these?
All other clicky effects are on potions. Rage, Fear Removal, etc. why the exclusion?
Considering AC in this game it wouldn't be broken.

agreed that is the sole reason they havent made shield readily available in vendors. ive spent hours thinking about it
Just kidding...
I took a level of Wiz on my Ranger just so I can use shield (and various wands while upping my sp significantly). Standing AC with TWF, my barkskin maxed, shield etc is 44 on a Strength build, not a dex build.
One guildie with a dex build and CE is pushing mid to high 50s AC. He figures that he will be about a standing 48 without CE with one lvl of monk when it becomes available.
... oh, AC does matter, especially when dishing out lots of dps, lol

It also may have to do with the target. Shield is 'self only'. So, maybe it's hard to distill into a potion? Lemme check the list of spells/potions (skipping new spells that aren't available as purchasable potions, wands, scrolls). Yup, that sounds plausible.
Self only spells not available as Potions
L1 - Expeditious Retreat, Detect Secret Doors, Divine Favor, Nightshield, Shield
L2 - Find Traps, False Life
L3 - Wild Instincts
Edit: Nevermind, Mage Armor isn't self only.

By the rules, shield potions are not allowed because the spell is self-only.
No, spells like Divine Power and Nightshield are on clickies but not potions, and Barkskin is on potions but not clickies.
Anyway, you can already get potions of shield. They're called Warforged Titan Cookies. Pick them up at the auction house, or trade them with a player who collected them at Christmas.
The shield spell is awfully handy.
My barbarian self-buffs into the mid-40's with all rages kicking in, while THF. With reasonable external help, he can push it into the low 60's, without sacrificing DPS (no CE, etc). All of this while swinging a SoS.
My ranger self-buffs to 55, and still has a few more points to squeeze out.
Shield clickies and/or wands are key to both of these characters.
