Default I don't see combat dice

I don't see combat dice on my screen when I am fighting or not. I change the combat dice color in options but the is no effect. However, in the DDO database is the following:

How do I change the color of my d20?

There is a 20-sided die (d20) that appears when you make certain actions that require a die roll, like attacking, saving throws or heal/repair checks. The d20 you start with is the default color.

You can change the color of your d20 by opening the Options panel (Ctrl+O). In the UI Settings, there is an option called Combat Dice.

Use this drop-down menu to change the color of your d20 to one that suits you best.

Is this an out dated feature or not? If not how do I turn it on?

Is it possible you moved another window in front of the dice, or moved the dice window behind something? It normally appears in the lower right hand corner, above the focus orb's default position. It should only show up when you roll for something, which is usually during combat. The easiest way to test it outside of combat is to buy a cheap wand you need UMD for, and try to use it. That will always give you a roll.

The default spot is at the bottom left....almost behind the focus orb. Very easy to miss, or put something else on top of.

Yep .. you were right. It was behind a window. Thanks for the help. In-game support told me there were no dice. Support is better on the forums.

Agreed. It's happened to me when I was messing around and changing screen resolutions. When screen resized, the dice "dun went somewhere?" It ended up under my focus orb.

Let us know if that helps.

Glad you got it fixed. From my experience, the in-game support(At least first level) generally follows a script. If your question isn't on it(Which this one wasn't likely to be), then you're better off posting here.

I see that if you move the dice to another position in the screen and then log out and back in, the dice moves back to its original position. I guess thats the position Turbine wants you to leave the dice at.

    Isn't technology wonderful?

I have the same problem, my dice disappeared recently (first noticed about a week ro two ago).

Following the advise in this thread I moved all my windows and hotbars around to see if they were blocked, and still no dice (see, I made a pun ).

I also looked through the options menus to see if there might be something in there, but i didn't notice anythign about dice other than the color, which I cannot seem to change.

Any other ideas? I find it really annoying.

    TIA

Did you try resetting the interface to defaults?

also having this problem... and i'm using transparent55 skin on ui so i'm pretty sure the roll isn't hiding.

I do however change my resolution some times so maybe that's it. i'll check tonight. I miss my dice. (ALSO i can't change the color of the dice or get them to stick either... doesn't make sense).

How does one reset UI to defualt (i reset options to default and the UI stayed the same, boo)
