Updating Error / Launcher

I downloaded the trail, installed it, and am in the process of updating it.

It completed the 'Update Programs', and needed to restart. So I restart the application so it can do the game data (I think), but when it comes back up on the restart, and begins to try to update the rest, I get an error with the self patch that says:

"Cannot patch file "TurbineInvoker.exe" error 32: The Process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

I have no idea how anything else could be accessing the Invoker since I have all of the programs closed. What can I do to fix this?

Easiest thing to try first is just restarting your computer. Usually this means that the launcher is still running somewhere in the background.
