pvp complaint

I don't think power word stun should be allowed in public pvp.
I enjoyed pvp on all of my characters before it existed but now I am starting to not enjoy that part of the game.
Although I love the new quests and raid, my enjoyment of pvp in a game is important as well and I am starting to not want to play as much anymore because I can't go into the wayward lobster and fool around without someone using power word stun and irresistable dance continuously on me and everyone else.
I have a wizard but find that the spell has taken a lot away from what used to be an enjoyable part of the game.
Since there was no other forum to present this in, I chose this one.

It was discussed here ( http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=132207 )before the mod came out but nothing was ever done.

Power Words should have their base PHB values in PvP rather than the increased values.

This mean anything above 151 hp shouldnt be affected? If so, this is NOT the case.

uh, if your only being stunned/irresistable dance and thats it, no one trying to kill you, then your allowed to send in a harassement report to the GMs about it.

So you are saying PvP is not fair? Well you are right..PvP is not fair and never has been. Some classes with spell selection/saves/hps/resists whatever.. just have it up on you. Why they have and have not allowed certain spells for PvP is a mystery but the fact is some of YOUR abilities may seem unfair to others as well.

as much fun as that would be, imagine a group of 12 casters dropping disco ball after disco ball (extended of course) in public areas and the strain it will put on the server

now imagine 40-100+ casters doing that

crash anyone?

i'm assuming this is the main reason for leaving 'permanent' aoe spells out of PVP

All spells ARE available for PvP when you PvP in the real arena and not the noob bars. You'll also notice how much weaker a lot of characters are when they can't rely on Warp Time for a speed boost in that arena.

yes

Unless you say fighters can't use thier special abilities, barbs can't rage, etc, it makes no sense as it is. All spells, all weapons, all abilities a player has should be available in PvP.
