Ok I'm getting sick of this game. Maybe some others are as well. And there is only one toon left that I have any fun with anymore. My fighters are boring me and my other melee's as well.
So for you people who have a full set of tome pages what would you like? I'll try to alter my offer to fit your needs. PM me with what you'd like. Honestly I think tome pages are not worth as much as they once were. So I'd rather give away good items to guildies than to take some exorbitant offer. But something reasonable I'll be happy to try to oblige.

Most of these items are only worth about the value of one or maybe two tome pages.
Full set of pages is worth atleast 1.6 mil pp.
And that's cheap.

Hey since this thing is turning into something other than a trade post. I'll go there.
Why do you guys think a tome set is so great now?
I MUST be missing something.
The only reason I want one is for the skiver. Which will give me a whopping 50 more sp's than my current Wizardry 7 helm. Since I'm a sorc, I don't even have extend, so the other things on it don't even matter.
Since crafting, most people can get Wizardry 6 items pretty easily. So if we're not talking sorcs, and are talking wizards, then it'll also save you a few sp's for the extra extend feat thing. And give you an extra 50 sps for a wizard. (I'm going under the assumption that the sorcs don't have extend. If you do, get your gimp ass to the trainer and get extra spell pen or specialize in necro or illusion. (hehe Look a whole new thread topic!)
Other than the skiver. I can't see anyone needing the tome pages for weapons. As the new shroud weapons are far superior to the tome page ones. And as I said, the skiver isn't THAT much more of an improvement.
So how exactly does a tome set equal more than a w/p ss? Even alone. I've had one on my fighter for a while now, and with improved pierce, It's pretty nasty to the poor mobs. Sure a rapier is the end all be all. But if you've never had a w/p ss/dagger you should try one. Mobs die quick.
Anyhow this should be fuel enough to feed the flames.

1. It takes a lot of time to farm a whole set.
2. the Skiver is the only item in the game at this point with that much sp on it (except the xp bonus on crafted items which stack with the skiver as well) and it also has arcane lore.. which only two other items in the game have ( i think )
3. Deathnips are some of the most effective damage dealing weapons in the game and they can be dual wielded.
4. Most people in the game don't have these items yet and therefore the market for tome pages is still somewhat large.
5. If they're not worth much why do want them so bad? your answer is probably why everyone else wants them too.

Hi Cypan,

Here's something that you're missing.

For those who have earned their Tomes, and run the quests... and run then and so on... that little item is a status symbol. It shows to many of us that this person has done their work and as you know, getting a "hey man, nice item" tell is complimentary and for some odd reason... satisfying.

The many people that I know take pride in their achievements. They not only do this for fun but also as a form of social interaction. When I meet someone who has something cool.. I tell them... in some cases I even swear "dang you Turbine for not giving me the pick pocket feat"

Also, getting those Tomes is expensive. In some quests you can die 5-10 times if your luck is bad. You will lose gear.. spend money on outfitting the party and hell... you'll spend time. A W/P SS is not a rapier. The eye? I've given away 2 in my time. I have 2 +6 str rings... several other +6 stat items and hell.. as most folkes know... I'm dirt poor. And here you are offering stuff that is not bad but not great... for 8 items that many players will spend close to a Million plat earning!?!

Heck, if I run the Orchard enough I'm likely to find 1/2 of what you offer in there... so in other words... you're not getting the value of things.

I mean no offence but your offer just isn't good enough.

In playing the game since two weeks after it began I've gotten ONE W/P item. (end reward from BAM if anyone's interested)
If you can get one doing the orchard for a while. I'll be **** impressed. I've been in there a ton, course I've been everywhere a ton.

I'd say that's rare.

Optic nerves also rare. Spiked boots. rare (well rareish since we've all run PoP a billion times)

+6 stat rings also rare, though not like the old days. Still command a lot of plat in the AH. Specially the con one.

Anyhow we may not agree, and as I said I might work something out with someone if they were wanting to trade.
But this has been fun anyway.
