People who got booted during live event and cannot log back in

Is there a fix for all of us that were booted during this evening's live event and are now stuck on "Cleaning up old connection"?

If you are still having an issue with this error, please either update your ticket or create a ticket if you do not have one with technical support. The direct link for their email ticketing system is here:

Please make sure your Username is correct. And in the "How can we help you" make sure to include the world your character is on, and any characters on that world. Please do not submit multiple tickets as it only makes the process more difficult and adds a delay for anyone else having the same issue. Unfortunately, there is no immediate fix for a character in this state.

I opened ticket. i can log on to other servers if i wanted just cant get onto the one where my toons are. Its nerve racking. to say the least knowing tech support isnt working its saterday? why have live event with no support to help players?

I saw the service hours also but I am hoping someone will take pity on me

At the worst, I am hoping that the Monday maintenance might fix the problem if it hasn't been fixed before then.

I pay to play this game and have for 2 years now. I got booted last night and still cant get on and wont beable to till monday. I mean come one for real if your going to have an event on the week end have some one there to fix it if it goes wrong.

I'd like to know if there is any chance this could be fixed today. I'd really like to play during the bonus weekend, but don't want to wait around/keep checking if there isn't a reason to. Any answer is better than no answer.

The gm response to my ticket(hey, who knew he would just so happen to respond in the 5 minutes I was checking to see if it had been fixed yet?) indicated that I'd have to wait until the next business day to get the issue resolved. Whether this is accurate or not, who knows.

nope couldnt, i can log on other servers just fine.
i pity whoever is going to sort this out and start working on this tommorow, sounds like there a lot of ppl banned form their servers
they say if you still experience... some ppl already had this issue this week, and they got fixed by friday, they surely knew more ppl were gonna be banned accidentaly like this. what about having extra staff for that weekend only ? i asked on many threads, but never got answered. all they say is theyre gonna bring down the servers monday..

I had the same problem last night , I finally decided to let it sit on the logon screen that says cleaning up old connection , and after about 5 minutes it loaded to the character select screen

I had decided to go that route as well -- It's been sitting at "Cleaning up old connection..." for 15 minutes now. Not losing anything by letting it sit there all night though, I suppose.
