about scars i will vouche for him cause he gives it his all. even though he coinstantly talks about his 50lb cat and his hyper kitty that keeps stabbing in his feet. giving up +2 con belts of remove disease 3x per rest rr warforge. i mean yes i know he isn't as good as the other canadian players. he holds his own talks as much as me but he comes to the game to play and do his best not just wait for the loot roll

scars is great to play with. The problem I have, I won't leave my guild, he won't leave his, so I guess we just group together.

    LOL.. I suck.

I'm da worst.. admit it Cali.. the only reason why I'm yer party is cuz Morgan threatened to rip yer plums off if you won't have me in yer party

    Hey Westerner,

While I am definitely a proponent for squelch lists and ostracization... I tend to leave this honour for those people who rub me the wrong way... those who either irritate me so much that I don't care if they can play, or those who are free loading. Cali is being a bit mean... but in all honesty... he's a really decent guy who has done a hell of a lot to teach the inexperienced and has in turn been roasted for these kindnesses... and yet he still takes on a noob here and there.

Me? Hell, I have no problem playing with new inexperienced folkes as long as they have the same game style as my own.... and I'm not talking 1337... I'm talking humour, fast and zergish. These are not taught qualities... these are traits. I tend to find that folkes who don't want to run fast tend to drop party quickly... I'm cool with that, and those who dig it... well, I party with them lots.

It's not a big deal... and once in a while I meet someone who says, "hey, yer that Scarsgaard guy from the forums, and yer not an a**hole at all"!... lol.. that cracks me up everytime

I on the otherhand am more of an ass in person than on the forums. Just ask my ex-wife.

Then, players like you and many others would step up and somehow manage to salvage the quest and get everyone the completion and end loot, including those who were completely useless.

How is it that a guy can get his tank to level 15 with a 38 ac and / or the inability to know how to stand in front of the Reaver so people can heal him and get their charges, etc...

Or my fav... a Cleric that is level 16 who can't heal or kill anything. I was in a Shroud run the other day on my Bard with some of the cool guys from Wicked and a pug Cleric (Who I warned them about). We got into part 2 and I was assigned to be the healer for one group. I was keeping the 2 tanks up with no problem and all was going well, until they needed me to go and help out on another part. They called this level 16 Cleric over to keep them up while I ran away and he couldn't. He either couldn't heal fast or well enough and they both died in minutes, even after we were all screaming at him to heal the tanks. In this case we couldn't pull it out, but on many in the most dire of situations we have and guess who usually gets the good loot.

I have 5 level 16's, 2 more that are almost 16 and I play a fair bit and still pull the most useless ***** from the chests, meanwhile I see guys on raids who did nothing or less than nothing (like your kid tank in the Reaver) and they pull Wounding of Puncturing rapiers.

I still haven't pulled one of them and despite all my time and levels have only marginal to decent gear.

So, I was upset about this for the longest time until Hal came along and told me that he thinks the Devs think I'm so good that I don't need decent gear and those other players are so poor that they need it.

I laughed my fool head off and in the end realized I was taking myself and the situation too serious and have since just got to the end chests, open them up and laugh... cause I still pull *****.

Maybe Hal is right and guys like us (and many more) are meant to help others get stuff that they desperately need to make them sub par, while we have to put up with how annoying and sub par they are and then watch them pull the +5 Holy Vorpal Cold Iron Scimitar of Disruptions and then comment on how cool it is and wonder how much they can get on the AH for it or put it in their bank to keep it safe while they continue to use their +1 Shock Bastard Sword while not having proficiency in Bastard Sword, but it looks so cool...

    argh...

Ministry - same advice you gave Cali - breathe in 2 3, exhale 2 3 - repeat . As to pulling bad loot - have you tried to change your dice color? When I'm getting regular bad rolls - I will do that - sometimes it helps - sometimes it doesn't. But it makes me think I'm doing something that will help

lol.. willy nilly is to to do something with haste and no plan, no cohesion and fore-thought... it's an old adage.

I was in a run once where there were 4 kids in it and they all ran in their own direction trying to fight mobs they couldn't take, chased after every opened chest and then screamed "heal.. heal me"... I dropped quick.

OMG... I would have loved to have been on that run and just muted my mic and laughed so hard I would have fallen off the chair... and then squelched them so I could finish the quest in peace, and then accidentally finish out at the end, forgetting to take them to the rez shrine so they could get the loot they didn't deserve.

Oh hang on... that's like every second run I'm on... the ones I'm not with Guildies or Mates.
