i would LOVE to see this study (link anyone?). it's amazing the number of quoted studies.... i recall hearing from this guy who read this article in this paper about a research place that said that 98% of the time studies are quoted, they are untrue and the other 2% they are just misrepresented.

personally, i talk a lot. i mean... i know i do... (and don't even start with when there are liquid refreshments involved) but i also know when to shut my trap and listen. and i can follow a plan. i don't think scar had issue with talking per se but rather incessant, aimless chatter that distracted ppl from being to complete the quest combined with stupid flirting AND said chatter pestering him in PM.

No study to back this up, but........

In my experience, some women (and some men, although it seems to be a less common event) just like to stir up **** to stroke their egos. So she was flirting with one guy, sending the OP private tells on the side, and generally causing a big hassle with her 'look at me' behavior in the group.

I would guess that she is about 15 - 20, has low self esteem, and doesn't function all that well in the real world. We should probably cut her some slack, because she probably has very little going for her besides using her 'womanly wiles' to stir up **** in a DDO party.

That was hilarious... I spent the next 2 runs tactically smacking everything trying to make up for this embarassing moment... the barbs got no kills on taht run.. yet the 2 casters and the cleric got almost every kill!!!

Don't feel to bad. I remember one run of TR, me (battle cleric) a rogue/cleric, a caster, and 3 fighter/barbs etc. Myself and the other cleric each had more kills than the combined effort of the other 4. A buffed battle cleric with backstab and twinkage, scary thing, especially in things like tangleroot. In the fighters defense, I suppose they were using "earned" equipment rather than the handmedowns of lots of mains and alts.

hahahaha nah the best thing is when a rogue beats the tanks and mages in running with the devils. they had vorpals and i didn't even use a banisher i just dpsed everything with my sirroco and treason. the tanks said i stole there kills but i was dishing out 50 pts per hit.

Yep.. nail on the head...

I'm talkative.. I talk a lot but like most folkes I shut up when required...

I don't know everything... hell sometimes all I do in a party is run around and heal.. why? Because I'm learning.. and if I stand still I die...

... this person (I won't use woman because I am not a chauvinist and I hold women in the same regard as I hold others.. I give respect until it is not deserved).. and this person not only yapped for hours.. they still gad the time to critcize me and others in the party for not doing what they think was right...

Today.. we ran the VoNs.. I got bug-booted in the velah fight to the market (the party smashed her down) and afterwards we did another Deleras Elite... in every run we had minimal deaths... and extremely short times... why? Because we all shut up when a leader was required. For Velah and the pillars Halifax took over... I smashed.. he ordered... in other parts of our runs, other folkes took over because they knew it better or they had a great idea... democracy is like that... a leader speaks up when needed... when he is not he shuts up... or jokes around but either way... NO ONE takes over the lines of communication.

This is a party... it is not a yap yap yap fest.

The VoN run was awesome.

More fun I've had doing that quest in a while now. Just wish I could'a joined y'all for your Deleras run... but maybe next time.

Ran a Greymoon/co6 Friday morning. After the first part the party leader said he had to go then went link dead. The one that got the star was new - admitted he was new. I said want me to take lead - he was real quick to throw that star to me. It went very smoothly - I run the greymoon - co6 quest series a lot. I like the quest chain, excellent XP and all my characters have to have the bat

There was my Kerrowyn (barb), a wf barb, a wf ftr/rog, 2 bards and we went through 4 casters. One that came back after a bit. One that said up front "I don't heal WF" the wf fighter said in reply "don't expect me to protect you." We were cracking up.

I had to tell the wf barb that from this point on not to expect to lead in the kill count - he was like why. I said your new title is "Meatshield" - you are there to protect the casters. Everyone had a good laugh, but agreed with me.
