    Default Closing Old Connection

    Ok so last night (Wed) I for some reason got 'Booted' from the world in the middle of a battle. I tried to login and it got stuck in 'Closing Old Connection'. I closed the game and tried again, same thing. I rinsed and repeated 10+ times with same results. Tried restarting my pc and nothing, screw it call it a night and get some rest. 12 hours later I jumped on and decided lets see whats goin on in DDO, NOPE again i get stuck in 'Closing Old Connection' AFTER 12 @$#%ING HOURS?! Well dont that beat all, Ok lets try loging in to another server. 1,2,3 and boom. I can get into all the other servers no problem except Argo!! Am I the only one going thru this BS or can a dev clear this &$%# up before I have to call and get upset about this

    What is really irritating about this is that we don't even get a response. Send an email and... And what? Wait? Did they even read our emails or did the filter send them to junk mail? Are they working on a fix? They got some of the people in the other thread back on. What about us? If they had a fix for the other players, why are we not on yet? WHAT IS THE STATUS OF OUR ISSUE?

    If you are able to get onto another server please contact ingame support and let them know that it seems as if your character is probably stuck and ask them to try to resolve it. In most cases they can.

    It didnt stop them from running the event last night. 3 people in my guild have the same issue right now including myself. Im amazed they have this known bug and still ran that live event knowing hundreds of people would be locked out of their servers. Thats just horrendous customer service.

    I'm in the same boat on Thelanis. I've seen "Cleaning up old connection..." since 10pm CST on 3/8/08. There has to be someone who can fix this, right?

    I am also a displaced Thelanis person - I waited over 2 hours for a response - NOT A DAMM THING - This morning - still the same problem - submitted a tic 1.5 hours ago - and guess what NOT ONE DAMM RESPONSE YET

    This is such BS!

    I had logged into khyber last night and created a ticket -- went to bed with no response -- logged in this morning to a closed ticket "Your issue has been forwarded to our NetOps team for follow up. They will look into your issue on our next business day"

    Put in a new ticket this morning - going on 2.5 hours with no response so far

    Same problem here. I was booted from Sarlona around 10pm with the message "Your account is busy" or something. When I tried to reconnect I got stuck at "Cleaning up old connection". I opened a ticked on Khyber at 10pm, went to bed at 1am with no response. When I checked it this morning I am still stuck on Sarlona and my ticket has been forwarded to NetOps for the next business day.

    I hope they can fix us before the weekend is over.

    agreed, posted many times about it, cant get answer of course. some ppl have been locked out since last week, and they still went on.... with no one to do anything about ppl getting kicked out, what a fun event it was.
    i have been playing since headstart myself and i love the game, things liek this just PIS*ES me off, been paying for 2 years(which is a total of +/-450$), everybody pays each month, why bother going on with the finale when everybody gets kicked during the week and just give em a BS fix before the weekend ( a FIX i said, nothing to prevent what causes ppl to get booted), yall shouldve brought the servers down on friday and check the issues ppl have been having closer or something. i know it must not be as easy as it sounds, and the ppl who decide whos working when probably never read those forums. i dont blame devs , but hell, Stupid video game companies
