Sun Blade?

I was just wondering what a Sun Blade is worth. I got it from my brothers old account. It looks like it is a decent weapon but I haven't seen anyone selling them.

Perhaps upwards of 40K. It's a great lowbie undead weapon ... preferred by rogues/rangers due to it's use as a finsessible. It had it's time of glory when LV10 was the cap but now that we are at 16 there are tons of undead/greater undead weapons to be easily had. If I had that item I would keep it for passing along to lowbies while levelling as that is where it's best value lies. I still think it's a good looking blade but it is also soft if I remember correctly.

I agree with Eldun, the Sun Blade is one of those weapons that you keep on hand for your lowbies and especially finesse builds.

It's a great lowbie / midbie weapon and is kind of a collectable.

I have 2 of them and love em.

I think 40-50K is about right.

I bought out one on the AH a few months back for 40k gold and I thought I got a steal. I've gotten a lot of use out of it!

Agree with the folks above...hold on to it, because you probably won't get enough out of it to make it worth not having it for your up-and-comers. (if that makes any sense!)

IMHO it's worth a lot, not really because it's powerful, but because it's very rare and it's just "cool"
The main reason there are so few sunblades is it drops at a low level range most people just powerlevel through as fast as they can.

Yeah, they the best skelly beater through the mid game, especially for finesse builds. The used to go for 100-300k, but now the price should be arond 50-100k. If you have a decent amount of lowbies, I'd keep it as they're awesome and hard to come by.

40 is too cheap.

It certainly does'nt drop often. Minimum LvL 6 actually makes it mid-Level range, not lowbie.

80-130kpp Easily.

One thing you all need to remember ... if you are a new player you'll be scrimping to come up with 40K to get it. If you're just running a lowbie up it won't be worth dropping 100K plat for something w/o a good return on the time investment AND if you're not a power leveller but have other toons you will probably just mail something worthwhile .... I usually use a flaming club of pure good that I have banked.

Like my title said ... just my 2 cents. I think the conscensus is KEEP IT!

If you have past level 10,
then there is no point to use Sunblade when there are Grtr Banes available.

I actually have 3 characters, all lower levels, (2 at level 5 and 1 at level 4) so I think I'll hold on to it for now.

p.s. I have actually been offered 100 k for it already!

My advice is to keep it. And my advice is worth exactly what you paid for it. If you find that you absolutely don't want to keep it any longer, I'll take it off your hands... *pokes Byz* Back off, you already got yer uber stuff!

Depends who you ask, lol! A lot of people say it's a random drop.

It's random, but apparently systematically in some specific chest levels. I know L7 works for sure, maybe 6, 8 as well, and maybe even 9.
