AdViCe for 32 pt SoRc build??

Can someone plz give me an AwEsOmE thread for 32 pt builds especially sorc's because i want to make another one because they are so much FuN!!!!!

Thing about builds for sorcs, or any other class is, what kind of experience are you after?

The unifying thing w/ sorcs, and why builds don't really matter all that much is this: max your casting stat (cha) and get yourself some good hit points (read don't skimp on con, 2nd most important stat.) Pretty much everything else that's important, such as spells, feats, you can exchange, so you can experiment to see what you like better.

And again, it all depends on what kind of experience you're after. If you want to be able to heal yourself, go warforged sorc and take the reconstruct spell. Or get a high UMD and UMD heal scrolls.

But like I said, max your casting stat and put points into con. Everything else can be adjusted.

MY build updated to 32pt current end game, (note spells I list woudl probably have be difrent as leveling btu thsi will be aimed ta the end game)
This is a Balaced roll build, CC/NUKE, a little buffing.

Human (cant have 32pt drow) NOTE: I would LOVE to start this build with a +2 int tome if you can add Jump to list of skills taken)
Stats:
Str: 8
Dex: 8
Con: 18
Int: 8
Wis: 8
Cha: 18

Skills:
All LEvels: Concentration & UMD maxed
ADD: Jump or mix jump&Balance if you can start with a +2 Int tome or when ever you eat one.

Feats: in no partiqular order
Empower
MAximize
Highten
Extend
Spell Pen
Gtr Spell Pen
Skill focus (UMD) fro the goal of no fail heal scrolls.

Spells:
1-RoE, Jump, Hyipno, Night Shield
2-Web, Resist energy, Scorchign Ray, Knock(for shroud only) used to be blur
3-Haste, Displacment, Prot Energy, Rage
4-WoF, Fire Sheild, PK, Enervate ... IF you dotn plan to have acid fog swap enervate for Solid fog.
5-CoC, Telaport, Symbol of pain, something ... level 5 sucks
6-Distigrate, FtS, Acid Fog ... Scrolls for G-hero
7-FoD, Disco Ball
8-who realyl cares mostly they suck untill we find Sup/Gtr glac/Pot 8

APs:
Human stat 1 - cha
Sorc cha 3
Human stat 2 - Con when needed buy tome/con item to make even.
Scrolsl mastery 4 - WHEN you can NO fail heal scrolls it rocks Scrolls
Human Healing 1 - see above.
Cheaper maximizing 1
Cheaper empowerign 1
Spell Pen 3
Fire/Cold mastery 4
Fire/Cold nuke % um 3 I think maby only 2
Fire/Cold nuke mutiplier um 2 I think maby only 1
should be a few floating points as well I may have forgoten the odd Ap I have.

Drow Sorc, For starting stats, max out cha, put the rest into con, and the remaining points into int(if you want umd, aslo to him some int runes in quests)

Put nothing in Wisdom, take Force of Personality feat.

Sorc really is Charisma, Constitution, and 4 dump stats.

(If you happen to have a +2 INT tome available at creation, you are WAY ahead of the game.)

Skill points: Got to have concentration. Max that.

Otherwise, it's play style. I do it this way:

I LOVE jump. firewall and jump is a sorc staple technique. Of course, once you can cast a +30 jump, you dont need the skill points so much.

I find UMD makes life a lot easier, particularly if you want to use a cross-alignment item, or use divine items, etc. Even at 50% penalty, with max charisma and the cartouche you can get a decent UMD.

Haggle is good, but not needed. Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, etc, I wouldn't bother. Get the Glimpse of the Soul goggles and an intimidate item, and cast GH, you can have pretty high in any of those without putting any skill points in.

Feats?

I think Force of personality is a must. Want to avoid being held, commanded, etc? Trade in that Wisdom 8 for that Charisma 30!

After that, it depends.

Going to be primarily a nuker? Maximize and Empower.

CC? Heighten and Spell Pen

Instakill? Enlarge and Heighten and/or Spell Pen.

Buffs? Extend.

My favorites are Enlarge and Extend. Why?

Extend doubles spell length for only 10 SP. Why cast a maximized empowered firewall for 1 minute for 65 SP when you can cast 2minutes for 75 SP? If you cast two non-extended firewalls, it's 130 SP. Why cast a 1:30 Haste when you can cast a 3:00 Haste? Fighters love Haste but hate to group. Keep them hasted and happy for fewer SP and less hassle. And Buffs can last the whole quest. WHy have to bother freshening all the buffs halfway through? Fighters LOVE GH, and a 30 minute GH makes them VERY happy.

Enlarge is the little secret of the feats. If you instakill, you can drop beholders all day before they even see you. Heck, you can drop EVERYTHING before it can see you. Or, you can cast Charm on a few guys before they see you and get them all fighting with each other. Once they aggro one another, run past unmolested. Works GREAT in the landscapes and landscape quests like Stormcleave. Take Enlarge, use, you'll wonder how you ever did without it.

If you can find room for Spell Pen, take it, and get as much as you can on items, etc. You'll need it.
