With the recent change in the level of the green steel weapons from level 8 to level 12, does anyone have a guess as to what a level 8 blank might be worth? I am presuming that their value has definitely increased due to the change, but I would like some opinions as to what one might reasonably expect a level 8 blank to go for both on the AH and in a private trade.

Does it become ML 12 as soon as you upgrade it? I suppose that doesn't matter since it binds as soon as you upgrade, and I don't imagine a lvl 8 would be in the shroud.
ummm, I guess it's a *little* better than a standard +5 for a lvl 8... but I'd use something like a +5 with an elemental effect and a rr myself.Last edited by Vhlad/Sair; 03-03-2008 at 01:51 PM.

Its value has increased by 1/4.
At level 8 there are other weapons u can use to substitute the green steel longsword.
Also, instead of trading gear, it will be much cheaper and profitable to make your own.
Still, its value has'nt doubled, but increased by 1/4.
