Hey guys, I was in a party last night with some folks I regularly group with, and the topic came up about the return of the lag. We were all lamenting that the lag seems to have increased with each successive downtime over the last couple weeks and were wondering if hardware was being taken off line. (just pure speculation).
Anyway, one of our tanks is an intim-tank build. And we all kind of realized at the same time that a lot of game lag occurs immediately during an intimidation action on a group of mobs. This is definitely distinct from net lag because everyone in the party experiences it. It's as though the game is struggling to re-calculate the monster aggression and pathways in a timely manner and can't keep up. So we get a short, but noticable lag that looks like the monsters have moved around and our sword swings aren't working.
I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this intimidation lag? Perhpas there was a chance to the code recently that caused the intimidation action to use more memory resources?
