Fillcomps? WHat exactly do you want to fill your Computer with? Doesnt sound like a particually good idea.
Warcry's Asheron's Call site claims that /fillcomps "fills the buy list with all of the desired components." I got no clue about pea splitting tools.
/signed please give us /fillcomps

Well, in DDO, pretend you can only have 1000 of each spell component. Then you could go to a vendor, and type /fillcomp, and it'd purchase all the spell components you needed to fill them all back up to 1000. Perhaps the OP isn't aware of CTRL-CLICK to buy more than one thing, there isn't much need for this in DDO, CTRL-CLICK is plenty. In AC there were ALOT of spell components...
DDO Spell Component management:
1) Drag your spell components to a hotbar slot. You can't do anything with them there, but it displays a counter, so you know how many you have left, and how many you might need. I suggest organizing them left to right, level 1 to 8.
2) When you need spell components go to spell component vendor. Subtract the number of components you have remaining (look at your hotbar slots) from 1000. CTRL-CLICK on the component to buy more than one batch at a time. Enter the amount you just calculated. Buy.

/Fillcomps would eliminate you having to look at each component, and do the math to see how many below 1000 you have to buy.
Or on my low str wiz, I only want to by 800 of each component instead of 1000. It would place all of the components I want in my buy window up to a set maximum that you want. This would work for fighters that want 300 potions and they want them to actually stack properly. Opps I bought 1 extra now I have 4 stacks instead of 3......
It is simple a convienence that I consider one of the best time saving features added to any MMO I have played.

Oh yeah, and every caster used a different recipe for spells. The OPs 'pea' reference is to the 'splitpea' player-created utility that helped you calculate what your recipes were so you didn't have to stand around figuring it out through extensive trial and error. Not sure why he mentioned it.
Split pea was actually used to split the components you needed to cast your spell becasue they were sold as "peas." Peas of the scarab, of the tapers, etc you needed based upon the spell you were casting.

Hmm, I think I like this idea.
Peas and thank you!
You know what I'd really like if we can't get that?
Better organization of the components at the vendor.
Would it be too difficult to organize them either by level or by class?
Or maybe a conversation tree asking the vendor to show you [insert class] components. (yes it's a little silly and it would require more coding, but it'd be nifty)

Well that wasn't so Vast and Mysterious, but I like it.
