    Default A quick hello.

Hey all, just wanted to say hi, I'm new to DDO but enjoying it so far. Got a cleric on Argonnessen named Jelana, going for a healer/support role, so look me up if you need a healer. She made 2nd last night in a group I got invited into, was a blast. Anyways, I play at all kinds of wierd hours, so here's hoping to meet a few of you.

Hello Kurgan, welcome to Argo. Did you choose your name for the city or for something else?

Just liked the way it sounded, actually, didn't know there was a city by that name.

I've also made a WF wizard, so I might have to seek you out when all the fleshies start getting to me

Aye, it's a city on the border of Siberia. It translates as "burial mound".

Hehe, sounds like a great name for a cleric.

Anyhow, welcome to Stormreach. If you see a Shriner feel free to ask if there is an opening in the group.
Drink Old Sully's, after a couple pints even Orcs look good!

It's also a great name for a main villain in the first Highlander movie.

Aye my Mithral friend, twas also a prominent feature in the city of Stalingrad. Many a German and Russian perished on this burial mound in an attempt to hold this feature during WW2. Retention of this feature allowed the occupier to dominate the surrounding terrain.
Reportedly the mound was so churned up by artillery fire that the recent dead and those all ready buried there were all mingled together, dug up and reburied countless times as bombardment after bombardment turned this small piece of ground into extremely expensive (in life terms) piece of real estate in Stalingrad.

Well I hope your lunch has stayed down :P
