    I think they've probably got their hands full with just getting monks finished.

    My scrying device says:

    1. Mod 8 lvls 17-18; more spells for lvls 8 & 9; content; etc. Typical mod. ETA: June 2008

    2. Mod 9 lvls 19-20; more content; focus on "backfilling" of stuff that they wanted to do up to now but just didn't get to. ETA: November 2008.

    3. Mod 10 - half-elves and half-orcs. March 2009.

    A level cap raise is good, but we need the content to go with it.

    Well I am always for a level cap raise, I have always capped before finishing the content, and no I am not one of those people who drills the same content over and over. I hope we see level 20 by module 8, I can tell you that my entire guild almost quit this winter over the stagnant level. To me nothing is more important than staying ahead of the curve with regards to level increases. not that new content is good to.

    My view is a bit different:

    1). Mod 8, Possible lvls 17-20, since the majority of work involved in raising the cap concerns new spells and there is only 1 more level of spells. Spells, Content, etc. Not June... More like Aug. or Sept. since Mod 7 looks like a May release.

    2). Mod 9, Nov. or Dec. release. According to an interview at the Game Developers Conference last week: "Looking farther into the future, Kate told me that we could expect druids and half orcs near the end of the year, as well as another level cap raise to 20."

    3). ???

    They said "we can expect"... to me this is more of a promise than "we hope to"

    That could be for the badguy monks. The monsters we fight often have a level of spells and abilities that we don't yet.

    What if they want us to roll lots of monks and characters to run through all the new harbor and low level quests they are making. If thats the case would raising the cap even to 18 be counter productive?

    Holy cow, nice find. I hadn't seen that one.

    She also implied that the cake's implementation of the "wish" spell may be a preview of an in-game implementation of the spell .... it was brief, but taht's how I interpreted what she said about it.

    I wish she hadn't said Lvl 20 was a "commitment" for this year. I can only imagine how certain members of the community will take that bit of sales fluff.

    That interviewer is hilarious as well !!!

    His voice cracks like 4 times ... I think he's hawt for Kate.

    Prob won't be a lvl cap increase but we need one lol! We are all capped again... sigh :P Oh well, off to the shroud to loot til we can make monks!
