    I have always wanted to play a ranger that uses bows, but never had due to how much they lag behind in total dps. With the new enhancements and changes to ranged fighting the gap is getting closer. I do not believe that rangers will ever be on par with mellee in ddo. This build wasn't designed to be the end all to ranged dps, but a fun build that can hold its own. This build also has lots of solo potential with open lock and the ability to get UMD 40+. I wanted a high saves, umd, and stealth. The order by which the feats are taken can be changed especially if you want weapon finesse earlier.

    You won't have a Base Attack Bonus of 16 until level 17, so you'll be at a 3-arrow Manyshot until the next level cap increase.

    Everything else looks good. My pure Elven Ranger didn't pick up Weapon Finesse until level 12, and he did ok. I have since swapped around his feats to pickup Deepwood Sniper (had to drop Shot on the Run and Mobility for Weapon Focus:Ranged and Improved Critical: Ranged). For his level 15 feat, he picked up Power Attack. Works out well for him.

    /sigh. If only we could Manyshot with thrown weapons (at least up to 4 since we have 4 spaces between fingers on one hand). Then you could be a real Halfling sniper. I want to fling a handful of shuriken like the Bugbear rogues do!

    does DWS work with throwing weapons? With the burst changes, it sounds like axe's might get a +1 crit multiplier in someones enchantment line, and with DWS that would make a x5 possible.
