    Question Kiting

I have seen this term "kiting" in the forums a few times. I assume this refers to ranged combatants jumping around to not get hit when they have aggro.

I am insterested in the finger-work on this. Where do y'all put your hands on the keyboard to jump around in circles when you have aggro? Do you use auto-attack? Do you have the keyboard laid out a special way?

    Thanks!

It's better that you don't know how to do it. You'll save yourself a lot of grief and animosity.

imo this is only useful when soloing or working in a duo/trio with arcanes and running mobs through fw, etc. if you are doing this with other melees they are just gonna get ****ed off and you will drain party resources while taking longer to kill mobs.

i do use the flanking circle when running with a tank though to great effect. let the tank get aggro, attack from rear and when you get aggro, just move in a tight circle around the mobs flank until the tank gets aggro back or the mobs are dead. one mob at a time is best for the the low HP ranger.
