Now I dont know if this can be done already hence why im making this a question post. But there is something id like to see when on big dungeon or outdoor quests that I havent been able to utilize. Id like to be able to pull down my map and place one of the markers there so that if my party scatters (especially on big areas like c06) I can head to a shrine myself without having to constantly have someone lead me to one. Its the same for some dungeons to. Sometimes the party will get scattered about or two of us will go to find the shrine or another important area and not be able find the shrine, or run into aggressive mobs going the wrong way. Id like to just be able to mark the shrine areas and maybe put my own little dohickie for areas ive been to. Im not sure if that can be implemented but if it could it would be nice. Id also like to add that it wouldnt have to stay. It could erase when the group, or my character leaves the dungeon or area, and only be used when in the area or dungeon. I know there are map makers (saved alot of them already from the forum post) and I appreciate them theyve helped but I cant always pull down my game screen to pull up a out of game copy of the area map to follow specially if im in a group that rushes to things. I just think this could be a helpful way especially for newer players to figure places out.
Once again if this is already an ingame feature sorry and if anyone can tell me how to use it id love to know how. Im sure some of you will jump on this will make the game too easy please im not looking for ease just to help with some confusion on really big quests and dungeons. and I know some will say just look at where the area is highlighted in the dungeon and go back, but for big outside areas that dont work. When I ran c06 the other night that map just stayed mostly a big blanket of green and since it was only my 2nd run I got lost alot. And please I know some of you guys get off ripping on peoples stupidity but id rather ask a stupid question and find out if it can be done then sit and wonder. So try to take it easy on the insults.
