    Default Bracer slot?

I got the Napkin from the Reaver last night.

Previously, I swapped out Evocation/Illusion/Necro bracers depending on what I was tossing around the most for spells. Seeing as how the Napkin takes care of all of those (and they don’t stack ) I’m at a loss as to what I should be using for bracers.

I pulled a set of +6 AC bracers out of storage and tossed them on to fill the open slot. I’m just sure there is something better, seeing as how my AC with a +5 heavy mithral shield hits a whopping 27ish with the bracers. That might be enough when I finally go back to work on finishing up my 1750, but in anything of a decent level… meh.

I’ve got a set of +6 STR bracers that I picked up the other day and was thinking of using them to increase my carrying capacity.

Can’t think of anything else to use… any suggestions?

Black Anvil Mines gives Nightforge Bracers with +20 hp on them.
There's many good bracer possibilities in the Shroud.

Prime candidate for Wiz VI bracers from shroud .

Personally i stuck it on my goggles and I use Chaosguards but I also wear dragonhide.

The Bracer slot isn't very useful for wizards. With the new shroud stuff you can fashion some nice ones. Barring that, strength bracers aren't a bad idea (my halfling needs all the help he can get) although I usually use the slot for armor bracers at the moment. Not that the couple points of AC makes a big difference, but I figure it can't hurt.

There were +8 AC race restricted bracers in the AH yesterday so that's out there.

Consider +6 Str or Dex (Str for carrying and to avoid being incapped by Ray of Enfeeblement, Dex for +3 to reflex saves.)

Then make yourself some green steel ones...
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Bracers of the Demons consort are pretty nice....

But you'll get random neg levels every once in a while. Not very often.

I can concur with that, I don't know how many times the extra free 30 temp hp has saved my sorc.

Strength bracers is another nice choice, freeing up your gloves or belt for other things (such as Bramble Casters and easier false life).

Green steel bracers bro - design them for Wiz VI, made right all the way through tier three, your looking at 300 SP (600 for Sorc), +3 to all Int Skills and True Resurrection.
