Running Rainbow in the Dark with my Warforged Barbarian. One of the stone scorpions just turned me into stone. Is this a bug or a special monster attack? WF should be immune to flesh to stone. Any thoughts?

It's kinda backwards. We should have been subject to Earthgrab at lower levels (which is a grapple, not a paralysis effect) and immune to Flesh to Stone at high levels. Though, I imagine that even without flesh, a WF's Livewood could be turned to stone. Sounds like a question for the Sage, to me.
Edit: It looks like the Sage has already answered (albeit indirectly).
Q: Dear Sage
What would happen to a warforged who is subject to a stone to flesh spell?
--Ethan
A: Nothing. Since that spell affects a petrified creature or a cylinder of stone, a warforged can’t be subject to that spell. This is also covered on page 23 of the Eberron Campaign Setting.
Perhaps I didn't word that correctly. Anytime a player character or monster has attempted to turn my WF into stone my combat log shows the immune message. Hence the belief WF are immune to being turned to stone (I shouldn't of used "should be"). So the only thing I can think of is the attack by the scorpions is being classified differently or it's a bug like when for a while there WF could randomly be affected by poison and disease due to their racial immunities not being applied properly in the instance. Who is the Sage and how do I ask him?
Humperdink, the "Sage" is on the WotC website and can provide guidance and interpretation of D&D rules. Once the intention of the rules is known, then you can approach the DDO Devs at Turbine.
You are probably correct that it could be a case of WF missing their immunity for a new creature attack/effect. Or it could be by design for a new, rare high level creature ability. It's a good question.
uses an extrordinary (EX) ability (stinger.) Whether the WF is IMMUNE to all petrification or just the spell/spell like abilities is unclear.
And ever hear of petrified wood?
Be careful what you wish for, what you say is best; for sometimes what you seek is found, not at the end of the quest.

Apparently someone read my question. From weekly dev notes:
NEW The turn-you-to-stone effects used by elder earth elementals and stone scorpions are now named "Petrify" so as not to confuse warforged who are immune to "flesh to stone", but not to these effects.
