Then, your will saves are a joke. And so are some of your other saves, taking Luck of Heroes and Iron Will wouldn't. Iron Will is a must have. However, I understand that the idea here was to no waste a single normal feat so you could take the most Improved Damage Reduction feats. In that angle, there is always the possibility to take 2 paladin levels, drop your Strength from 18 to 16 and then bump up your Cha to 12. That will net you from 2-6 more saves depending on the gear you'll use (+6 item + tome for +6 to all saves).

This also has the side effect to net you another +1 to AC, which isn't a bad idea since your AC is pretty low.

If you do, drop Khopesh. You'll barely notice the difference. Also, you might want to drop Stunning Blow for Dodge, because, again, your AC is too low for an intimitank. I understand you left Cahttering Ring out, because it's raid item, but I'd say that any intimitank should ransack the Forge 'till he finds one. +3 to AC is not to neglect when your main goal is to keep near 100% of the aggro on you.

Well, if I wanted to be more "pure" Intimitank, I could drop 2 levels of Fighter along with 4 points of Str.

Drop Khopesh, Pwr Atk, Cleave, Great Cleave, and Stunning Blow.

This would free up 4 feats (lose one from losing Fighter levels).

This allows me to up Cha 6 points, adds 1 point AC (Pally Aura), add 4 points into Dex (needed for Dodge), and allows me to pick up Dodge (more AC), Bullheaded (shores up Will save and helps Intimidate), and 2 more Improved DR?

    +4 Ftr AC Boost III
    ________
    68 AC for short bursts

Yes, this AC is highly situational and relies on difficult to attain items, but it is also a best case scenario. The standing self buffed 51 AC is achievable with about 10,000 PP worth of items total (+5 Docent, +5 Stl Tower Shield, +5 Dex item, Haste and Barkskin pots).

Now, this idea gives up some of the offense (actually, most of the offense), but it can now do the job it is designed for, keep the enemy busy without taking much damage, so the rest of the party can dispatch the enemy. This build will probably never win a kill count past level 2, but will definitely be noticed for making quests that much easier.

Improved Damage Reduction is a normal feat and cannot be selected as a fighter feat. For now, your normal feats are:

    • Toughness
    • Adamantine Body
    • Bullheaded
    • x3 Improved Damage Reduction

    As a result, your DR is of : 2 Adamantine Body + 3 Imp Damage Reduction + 2 Enhancements = DR 7/Adamantine

Now, I think that both you and I agree that the purpose of going WF is the DR, as you have to deal with lower AC. This is why I thnk you should try to maximise that. Obviously, you cannot get rid of your body feat, however, Bullheaded and Tougness could be dropped. By not picking up Stunning Blow, you freed a bunch of APs, allowing you to be able to afford Contruct Thinking III. Yes, it only protects you from Enhancements, but most will-based spells are.

It has also allowed you to get Intimidate IV. With that, you'll pretty much cover everything there is to be coevered. Yes, you might not floor every single red named in the game, but almost all of them. And you won't be off by that much, so it'll go well. In shrot, you don't really need Bullheaded, even though it's a really nice feat.

Then, 404 HP is more than needed, you could drop Toughness (Yes, I said that.) and pick up another Improved Damage Reduction feat. 336 will more than enough considerating you'll have 51 AC, DR/10 and no GFL item. Maybe that, in the Vale, you'll need that HP until you get your hands on Chattering Ring, but talking from experience, 300 HP and 51 AC was pretty good in GH. That would also free a bunch of APs. Leaving with soemthing like this:

Warfoged Constitution I (With a +1 Con tome it'll bring you even.)
    Warfoged Construct Thinking III
    Warfoged Damage Reduction III
    Warfoged Healer's Friend III
    Fighter's Armor Mastery II
    Fighter's Intimidate IV
    Fighter's Tower Shield Mastery I
    Paladin's Charisma I
Follower of the Sovereign Host (If you go longsword, of course.)

And also leaving you about 4 APs to have "fun with". That considers you'll use a +1 Cha tome (to use benefits from Paladin's Charisma) and a +1 Con tome. Anyway, those are enhancements and are not set in stone. They will change many time has you acquire better gear (like dropping TS mastery if you get a +5 mith TS or Madstone Shield).

Making these feat swaps would bring your DR to :

    2 Adamantine Body + 5 Imp Damage Reduction + 3 Enhancements = DR 10/Adamantine

    Your feats becoming:

    1. Adamantine Body
    3. Improved Damage Reduction
    4. Weapon Focus: Slashing
    6. Combat Expertise, Improved Damage Reduction
    8. Improved Critical: Slashing
    9. Improved Damage Reduction
    10. [Blank]
    12. Improved Damage Reduction
    14. [Blank]
    15. Improved Damage Reduction
    16. [Blank]

I left three "blanks" becuase it gets mroe to preferences there. First, the descision is if you wanna push the defense further more, adding Shield Mastery, Improved Trip, Stunning Blow and Improved Shield Mastery would be options then. Then, if you choose to increase the offense, there are more choices:

    • Greater Weapon Focus: Slashing
    • Greater Weapon Specialisation: Slashing
    • Power Attack, Cleave
    • Power Attack, Cleave and Great Cleave

So far, I'm really impressed by the synergy of Intimidate, Cleave and Great Cleave. Also, Power Attack is really neat to have for when you DPS over AC like the first part of The Shroud where melees' job is pretty much to kill the portals.

I'd also like to point out something else. Dropping Int to 12, raising Dex to 10 will allow you to take full advantage of Fighter Armor Matery III later on if you ever acquire a +2 Dex tome which are now given as end reward in the Vale, as well reward of Hard and Elite Vale quests, probably The Shroud of normal and the Stormreaver's Warded chest, making of these much more easy to get than ever. If you leave Dex to 9, it'll take you a +3 tome to get there, which are still quite rare.

You'll simply need to burn a Int tome before getting CE, and if you don't go that way, you should still burn a Int tome for more Skill points.

    Hope this helps,
    Borror0
