    Default Some file descriptions

    The following files below are for the chat box. Notice how each appears to have a compass position. Well that’s what it is. Get used to it you will see it a lot.

    gui2_box_lvl0_metal center.tga >>> background for all of the main boxes (inv, social, journal, ect ect. (this image shows up in the non clickable are of the box)

    gui2_box_lvl2_Center.tga >>> Background for clickable/scrolling areas in the main boxes

    gui2_panel*.tga >>>> Most borders around the gui boxes. (multiple files using compass headings.)


    There are alot more files, 1200 in total. Hope that helps some and gives an you an idea on the file structure.

    Your best bet is to just change the graphic color to bright green and load the game and see where it shows up at.

    Note: The astricks indicate multiple file names for pieces.

    Yes I know it is a lotro tutorial but the concept is pretty much them same. they just have diffrent file names.

    I'll post some of the codes I've figured out too. Thanks for those.

    And now for a little preview of a dark wizard UI I'm working on:


    If you set the dice to default color (opal) you get skulls instead of dice. Shiny metal skulls!

    For some reason, my map frequently gets bugged out and completely unusable when using custom UI's.

    Nice work! The dice are a nice touch as is the focus orb.

    Here is a list of what I have found in addition to what was listed in the op:

    dice_d10_opal -> 2 10 sided dice
    dice_lg_opal -> 1 20 sided die
    DeathIcon -> skull pic that appears on death release confirmation box
    Focus_Orb_06 -> main focus orb
    Focus_Orb_small_cropped -> minimized focus orb
    xp_action_point* -> the little gem things that show how many ranks you have at the bottomright of your screen
    xp_bar* -> the parts of the xp bar at the bottom of the screen
    radar_circle_brass_forground_2 -> mini map
    hud_menu_bkg -> the background for the menu buttons
    full_bar* -> the main shortcut bar (ie.not dettached)
    gui_button_characterpanel* -> button at top of screen for character sheet. Buttons for other windows have similar naming
    adventure_compendium* -> the one button from the top menu that doesn't begin with gui_button
    healthbar_background/foreground -> the graphics surrounding the healthbar

    No problem will do. I know there are some europeans on the lotrointerface site that don't have access to the U.S. DDO forums.

    Known issues:

    Exiting the game and then logging back on while a custom skin is active often leads to the map not functioning at all.

    There is also the full_bar_*.tga files for the inital bar and the focus*.tga for the focus orb.

    Ghoste, am I seeing things or do you have a slightly different image for each AP gem? I thought it was just one image that repeated

    The gems are all the same image, but the right end of the xp bar has been altered to make it look that way.
