    Default Mod-6 Offensive Caster Cleric.

    SR SR and More SR.... WHile My Nul Cleric does just fine, I wanted to see how much Pen I could get and stil have a Solid Build.... THis might be fun to play in Mod 6....

    Impaqt, Could you give a listing of the spells that you would recommend having loaded on your null cleric build and on this build? That is all of them from level 1 up to the new level 8's. Thanks.

    Nevermind I found your null build further down with spells listed. Nice builds. Now I need to work on convincing the cleric I run with to try out some of the spells.

    Yeah, the Null Cleric I thought it was important to point out all the Null Spells we have... On this one, its pretty obvious what considered offensive and whats defensive....

    This build is al about punching through SR so your Slays, Destructs and Banishes have a better chance of working.

    Offensive caster cleric? Beh...that's almost as yesterday as the battle cleric. All the cool Clerics are Turning Spec Clerics.

    Yep, its the clerical flavor of the month. It might be a bit more useful if clerics could also specialize out to turn outsiders and elementals (being certain domains allow this).

    Hey Impaqt, once again I'm here.

    Would like to read your thoughts on Heighten vs Extend on a cleric build like this, partially because I like this discussion and partially because with only a few changes to stat point distribution at creation and an enhancement here or there, I'm looking at my cleric.

    At level 16, would say that it is more important to have feats in Spell Pen, than 2 feats in Necro Focus?

    My cleric with 34 Wis and 21 Spell Pen, lands pretty good, but, I would like it to be better.

    If your truely serious about this being the mod6 offensive cleric empower is really a must. empower + maximize + sup potency 6 + blade barrior for the win in many a content. Swap out IMT for empower..

    Hmm, wish I'd found this before I posted, oh well
    -For a 28 pt Human with absolutely no gear (tomes/anything else) waiting, where would you suggest shaving the 4pts off?

    I wouldn't call Empower a must have, especially if one already has Maximize. Simply having one or the other (I prefer Maximize, others prefer Empower) with Sup Pot 6 and BB should plenty. Mobs may need one more pass through the BB to die, but that should be fine, the five other people in the party are probably do damage to them as well.

    It probably was another thread for one of your other clerics. I have dropped Extend on my cleric and haven't missed it. 16 min buffs have been more than enough, especially given the presence of dispelling mobs. Sure, I can't give out extended Recitation or drop extended BB anymore, but I find that even with max WIS, I need to heighten certain spells more often to make them work (Greater Command, for example).

    I'd love to hear your response on this? I'm an old player returning after being away almost 2 years and have rerolled my cleric. My last one was level 9 but things appear to have changed dramatically since way back then and I didn't like my stat distribution. I'm going to try out this build (with 28 pts though, not 32) but would love to hear your thoughts on heighten vs. extend.

    Impaqt...do you have a recommended alignment? I've always seem to lean toward chaotic good. Any thoughts?

    If your going to melee, I'd recomend Neutral Good Or Chaotic Good. THis ofers the most flexibility with Weapon Choice.

    FOr a Pure Caster, I'm of the mindset of True Neutral Right now. THis opens up ALL of your spells for situatinal Use.

    My first cleric was this build. I've recent built a melee cleric. Compared to this one has so much less mana. I would say this is my favorite of the two.
