Default Devs: Pit Fiend Raid is Awesome!............Abbott raid is a bunch of BS.....

I say this b/c I don't want a dead raid in the game.

Please do something to the abbott raid.

The new raid is tough, requires everyone to work together well.....it's exciting, long, hard battles.....great stuff...

The abbott raid is a bunch of hop/skipping/jumping/asteroids/invisible tiles BS that needs to be rethought.

    Fix the abbott.

Well, technically it's an undead raid...

But all kidding aside, popular wisdom backs you up. People just don't like that raid, and the Devs don't like the work-arounds that were found to compensate for the aspects people find detestable about the raid. I won't even bother flagging for the Abbot... waste of my time when you look at the level of aggravation vs. the lackluster potential rewards.

The new raid is alot of fun, nice puzzles but yet not too difficult enough to get to last boss.

Abbot will probably remain 'dead' until they fix the puzzles.

Yep, there are probably dozens of ways they could fix the Abbot raid. They need to just pick one, and go with it.

Some very SIMPLE changes could be enough (here are my suggestions). Right now, we must wonder why they decided to waste so much developer labor with nothing to show for it.

Default The Abbott Needs to Be Defeated for the Shroud to be in Existance

The story line goes this way, the only problem is none of us here in the USA or Canada defeated that horrible quest after the NERF. I am left wondering where all the power came from to open the SHROUD Lets get this quest fixed so we can honestly tell the NPC's from the 12 that is was us and not those guys from across the sea that defeated the Abbott

    Just my 2 Cents

Only thing I don't like about The Shroud raid is you HAVE to spend LOTS of money on scrolls, wands, etc and use a BUNCH of mana pots. We did the shroud on hard yesterday and we gave up on phase 4 because we were using up too many resources. One of our clerics went through 74 major mana pots. It's kinda silly, but except for that I think the Shroud is an AMAZING raid.

    Great job Turbine.

Yes, make the abbot raid playable/beatable/notjustafrustratingwasteoftime.
Making it ridculously hard and requiring the video game puzzles to be completed was a very bad move. It also takes away the incentive to do the quests in the orchard. You basically took out the mod 5 raid, and with it the main reason for people to do the other mod 5 quests as well. Bad idea.

That's just not true. If you think you "need" even one mana pot to beat phases 1-4, then you're doing it wrong. Possibly phase 5 can be beaten that way too (but not many players are interested in beating all 5 right now, because they'd get on timer and locked out)

Thats all due to poor tactics. As you learn the raid it cost less and less. Just keep practicing like everyone else is to perfect a method of success!
