Need lvl 16 quests on Elite ? Want more raid loot ? Want to pug less and die less ?

Indago wants to offer you more options to just pugging when you log on!

Joining PUGS is hella fun most of the time because you get to meet all sorts of people and play with people's different play styles and learn new aspects of the game that you normally wouldn't.

However there comes a time where you see your bank account going down due to repair deaths, you join pug raids and have a great time yet your chance at item drops is super low because every other person in the raid needs every single item FROM that raid. Oh and lets not forget all the LEROY JENKINS OUT THERE! lol.

Our long term goal (as soon as the mod 6 craze calms down a bit) is to provide all of our members the opportunity to run ALL game content to ensure that all of our members are able to enjoy the game to its fullest, get the items they want and do the quests that they want. No matter if it is a lvl 2 quest for favor, doing old raids (Velah, Titan, Queen, Abbott) or farming the new raid 6 times a week for crafting supplies. The most of our focus will obviously be where the greatest benefits are however we don't ever put anything on the "we don't do that anymore" list.


.... This ivitation is expanded to even your friends who you are used to playing with should there be several of you who want to all join together.

Or maybe even whatever is left of your guild due to having lost a lot of memebers recently.

We do not have a lot of space however and we obviously want to accept as many as we can however we are more interested in staying a medium sized guild of friends rather then a very large guild of people who do not even know their guildmates as there are so many of them.

We're very silly, laid back, high level players but patient with anyone who's willing to learn. So you don't have to have 50 raid loots to join but and we will happily show you the ways of the elite!

Unfortunately there are limits and we do not need class combinations or builds that do not fit with our play style or current group set up. All of this can be discussed in person on a 1 on 1 basis though of course and we do have room for new members form all classes. Please no barbarians with 8 STR or Wizards with 12 INT though.

We're on eastern standard time and our members are on most often evenings between 6:00 PM and 11:30 PM (ish).

I've played with a fair number of current and former Indago members and have always found them skilled team players and all around decent folks. So if you are looking to play the high end game more I give them my recommendation (for what it's worth). They also have a long history in game which is always a good sign that the spirit of the guild is strong.

History

Indago was the 2nd guild on Thelanis (pre-merge) to beat the Titan, Queen, and Stormreaver raids. A shout out to Legends of Zen is needed for this because at the time, their guild was a part of Indago. We were also the 2nd guild on Thelanis (post-merge) to beat the Abbot. I'll give a shout out to Legions for this one, since at the time some of their current members were a part of Indago, and we used the same brute force strategy as them. After the Abbot nerf, a large fraction of our members set DDO aside and a bunch of people moved on to other guilds due to the inactivity of our core.

Current Status

We've been back into the game full swing since Jan, and are looking to refill the ranks. We're all mostly on 6 month renewing subscriptions now, so expect us to stick around. We also used to be a DKP guild, but are using an entirely your loot is your loot system now, to be more pug friendly.

Guild Size and Focus

Indago is not a large guild (about 18 members and some have a very casual play schedule). We do not have the numbers to provide consistent grouping opportunities for players who are below level 12. As such, any new players might find greater enjoyment in another guild, unless they don't mind pugging to a higher level. We do have a few new players in the 9-11 range, so some grouping opportunity is there, it just won't be consistently available because our focus is high level content, and raiding.

Zerging

Since we tend to do things fast (if you open our website your browser window will say Indago: Home of the Zergers!), I am wary of ruining the DDO experience for a new player by rushing through things too quickly for them. If you're a little slower and maybe get lost in quests, you might feel left behind or like you're not contributing as much. And from our end, that is 100&#37; fine as long as you don't get angry or impatient with us for going too fast and you try to keep up most of the time. We are tolerant with showing new players the ropes as long as they have the right attitude. Complaining when you die, getting angry, or insulting people is asking to get booted. If there is a quest that you would really like to do slow, you can probably convince us (once in a while) to stop, look at butterflies, hug kobolds, or do whatever it is that people do when they're not rampaging through Turbines content at speeds that make the devs cry.

Friends

We're not elitist. If you want to join (and you're a decent player), but you want to bring your friend with you who is basically as skilled as a blind monkey mashing the keyboard with its toes, that's fine. Your friend is in, as long as he has a good attitude. That's really number 1. You could be the god of DDO but if you're annoying us in voice chat or being consistently negative, Dolfa will probably go on a booting rampage. The key in the above scenario is that we get 1 decent player. If you and your buddy are both as skilled as a blind monkey mashing the keyboard with its toes, then unless you have really sexy voices, we probably won't take ya.

What I Am Looking For

I would like to recruit more members at the skill level of our core raiders. i.e. I'm looking for people who get stuff done, no matter what. If 5/6 of a pug is a disaster, but the quest still gets done, I'm looking for that 1 person who plowed ahead and got everyone through it. So contrary to Driths title for this thread, I am looking for people who do not need lvl 16 quests on elite, who do not need to pug less and die less, because they're uber. Finding those players who aren't already established in a guild is tough.

The best case scenario for me is to find a smaller sized guild to merge with us. If you are in a small guild and are looking to expand, please don't hesitate to PM myself, Drith, Seylene, or one of the other Indago officers. We can schedule some joint raids, see if our guild play styles and play times match, and see whether or not we enjoy each others company, and go from there.
