    Oh Oddi,

Even though we haven't grouped lately. Its been a pleasure having you be a guildie, a good sport, and most importantly a member off the DDO community. While I hope you enjoy yourself on Conan i hope you come back to DDO.

    Take care bro.

I will be playing "Conan" in May, I already pre-purchased the $80.00 Collectors edition so i can get those founder items, I have to try to get a jump on Byz and Ace and a few choice others so I can somewhat compete in the trading forums, LOL. I wish you all the best. Oddimus

    Additional toons Hexling and Kazoo.
There is no way Conan will be ready in May and when it comes out it will be missing so many things that were promised at first.

    1. Formations
    2. Drunken brawling making your drinking cape almost useless at first
    3. sieges arent working at the momement
    4. pvp doesnt even work in beta right now.
    5. loss of two classes
    6. its going to be a end game focused game very fast levelling(ok this is a plus for some)

yeah I tried some of the game already and canceled my CE version and deleted the fourm from my favs will try the game a few months after it comes out but no way your playing in May.

No way Conan is going live in May was so excited about that game and now its such a disapointment after beta. Its why I came back here even though this game doesnt have somethings I want its so much better then anything out there or coming out.

Speaking out of sheer selfishness, I hope you find the combat system to be as dull and uninspired as I found it when I played it at Dragon* Con in August.

Yeah its not what I thought it was going to be its still a button mashing fest, I didnt think it was going to be until I tried it.

I agree he should keep his stuff as Conan will most likely disapoint him if he likes DDO he proably wont like conan.

If they dont want to disapoint people they will have to redo the whole thing.

Age of Conan will be a great title. Heck anything is better than ddo right now , after being here for 2 yrs and running a successful guild I think the time has come to move on soon. Already have a 40 person guild on Arkenstone for lord of the rings which is an excellent fantasy game with amazing graphics. It never gets boring unlike ddo sitting around waiting to run the same ol quests over and over. The thrill and excitement has been gone from ddo for along time that is why I did special events and off the wall things in the guild like drinking contests and the halloween event among many others to try and spice it up.

But I will say ddo is in a class all of its own so even though you run other games you can always come back to this one. Seeing how slow the mods come out and how fast the new content gets blown through this is a good title to keep on the side so I wont completely ever leave.

However , I do Look forward to running my 10th cross game guild in AoC as I have a feeling this will be a very competitive title so getting a good jump on the action is necessary. The site will be up soon and recruiting will begin.

    In closing...

ddo tastes like that can of soda you opened up last night , forgot about , and the next day you drink it on accident thinking its a fresh new one full of fizz and excitement but its flat. =/ yack.

Not leaving ddo until mod 6 is completely completed for my chars. Its that next 3 months time that I will take my leave and disband the guild. Just a heads up ladies and gentlemen. =)
One would have to ask.....Why are you still here? I can't imagine wasting one minute on something I described as you described DDO above.

In before closing? Um... have a good MMO vacation... that sounds weird.

Mod 6 has pushed some life back into DDO for me and there's no way I could cancel pre 6.1 Update given the complete silence around it... and Conan is what? about decapitations, hitting the left, right or center attack click and cool down? xbox 360? Have fun with the children.

I moreso might consider Warhammer... after it's been out a month or so. Tired of beta'ing these stupid MMO's during their first months of release.

DDO's good for a while longer. It's in Beta3 already.

makes sense. Not enough content in the new zone? That would be my one issue. The content itself is good, well designed, good artwork, good rewards. re playability is my big concern.

Um... how many R movies did you see as a kid. I know it's rated "M"ature for gore. You think that pulls in more 30-40 year olds or more 10-20 year olds? I'm old... but as a gamer I like to see neat gore FX... a few times... but for the kids... that's rad awesome... err um... wait... I heard a kid describe at least 15 games just last week using one adjective. This is what he'd say about Conan:

"Conan is tight. Yeah... it's graphics and blood and gore is tight. It's combat is tight. I don't have a PC, but I have an XBox 360 (which is tight). I'm totally gonna chop *string of lame profanities* heads off all da days I'm a playin dat game."

Guess we could check the demographics somewhere on what age plays rated "M" games... regardless of what age you're supposed to be to buy them. All the GTA's were in the "tight" list.
