Everyone: Lets look for w/p rapiers!

Since everyone is looking for a w/p rapier, please all look in chests to see if you can find some extras.

Myself, I just need 5 of them to equip all my toons.

i would like 8 please so that all characters can duel wield them including my wizard, for when he uses his hold spell. Also I would like to find +2 tomes in every flavor... 4 complete sets is all I need, some complete orchard pages and shield sets would also be appreciated

I still run xorian cipher for the chests and get nothing Never pulled a planar gird...EVER in literally over 100 runs. Thank goodness my characters have high enough UMD to cast GH on them selves

That is my point exactly!

Think of all the chances that a w/p rapier could have been generated by the loot tables. Now think of all the people that have multiple skivvers, deathnips, shields, +2 or higher tomes, etc. W/P Rapiers ARE the rarest item in the game. Period. End of Discussion.

Question: Why do people overlook Scimitars? Don't they have the same crit range as Rapiers? Aren't all of your Dwarves already specced for Slashing weapons?

The only answer I can come up with is that W/P or similar crit based weapons are only truly valuable to non-DPS/Dwarf toons.....who tend to be finesse builds.

Puncturing weapons MUST be piercing (as vorpal must be slashing, weighted must be blunt, etc).

Therefore there could never be a Wounding of puncturing scimitar or kukri or falchion.
No other piercing weapon has the crit range of the rapier.
