You guys have got to be kidding me. Are you seriously complaining about a 10,000 GP repair bill? You have to try really hard to avoid making 30,000 Gold just from vendor trash in most high level quests.

Personally, I am thrilled to just lose an average of 3,000 gold per death on my high level toons instead of losing an hour's worth of XP. Long live the new death penalty!

I agree with you...I ran two new quests and I died 4 times...-30,000 GP....sold whatever junk I got from those quests +70,000 GP.....If you are carefull and play well your profit will increase AND you are not losing XP...I like the new system!

Had a guildie that was that guy while I was leveling up my cleric. Kept on dying all the time and I could not figure it out. Till I hit him with a charge of CSW and healed him up from incap to almost full when he was 6th level. I stopped stressing over him dying after that.

Worst ive ever had was about 17k, and that was last night in Running with the devils. however that was by choice, we were gonna wipe so i tried to seperate couple of the named from the rest of the group in the last room. Got to shrine room, away from group and died and rezzed three times to get them into position so when we came back in we could pick them off. Other than that i have never seen more than 6k as my absolute highest and i normally run around in the vale clearing at least two of the four areas at a time solo. Ive not done them on anything harder than normal, that may change my perspective for sure, but then again, its hard and elite, it should hurt more. naturally just my opinion, but i dont think repair bills that high are the norm.

Agreed. Something needs to be done with this, they can't expect us to farm for relics or pump plat into the AH ecomony and have that be the "repair bill".

other than that, as long as you aren't a complete idiot that zergs around with a greataxe, and 6 con, you should be fine.

grouped with a guy in the desert... he zerged ahead and told me 19k repair builds were the norm for him.

I'd love to know where he gets his money from.
